Van Buyten alone is better than Ismael no doubt, but the partnership with Lucio doesn't work, while the Ismael - Lucio partnership worked

Well I'm hoping that Podolski proves why he is the best emerging talent in Germany, so he would take over Makaay's spot in the starting line-up.
Makaay is close to the end of his career and this is probably his last season with Bayern, so we need to have a replacement ready.

He will be sold, or released.
According to close sources, Miro Klose will sign for us in the next few days.
So that makes no place for Makaay, not even in bench.

He'll put pen to paper on 8th of June, and afterwards he'll have his press conference.

"Il Bomber" wants to fascinate Munich
"Il Bomber" wants to fascinate Munich
Luca Toni will wear the FC Bayern München shirt from next season. bundesliga.de introduces the Italian World Cup winner.
Bayern signing Luca Toni is rated as one of the most prolific strikers in the world. He is gifted with a great technique: the 30-year-old is strong with both feet and an aerial threat. Which is not surprising given his height of 1.94 metres and 94 kilograms weight, but his skill is definitely surprising given his stature.
No matter how
"Il Bomber", how he is called following Gerd Müller, scored 16 goals for Fiorentina in the Serie A last season. Six with his left foot, five with his right foot and five with his head. A complete striker. "I touch the ball and it hits the back of the net", Ferrari driver Toni says.
But it hasn't always been like that. As a teenager Toni was mocked because of his height and people suggested he'd rather try basketball. But he didn't stray from the track. "I never gave up. I knew that I was born for football", Toni recalls.
Top flight debut aged 23
He made his Serie A debut at Vicenza Calcio aged 23, after plying his trade in the second and third flight with rather modest success.
His breakthrough came in the 2003-04 season when he fired US Palermo into the top flight with 30 goals in 45 matches. He also made his Italy debut afterwards.
Toni joined Fiorentina in 2005. 47 goals in two seasons followed, earning him the nickname "Tonigol".
Golden boot winner
During his first season with Fiorentina he was on target a stunning 31 times, winning the golden boot for the best striker in Europe. In 177 Serie A matches Toni has scored 91 goals.
He won the World Cup 2006 in Germany with Italy. He has been on target twelve times in 27 caps, including two goals at the World Cup 2006.
Trademark celebration
One of Toni's trademarks is his way to celebrate goals. He touches his ear as if he wanted to screw it off. "Avete capito?!" - "Savvy?"the gesture means in Italy.
His career may have been off to a stuttering start, but Toni has still made it to the top.
A late bloomer
"I'm a late bloomer", Toni says today. And he's deeply grateful to his parents Valeria and Gianfranco. "I owe them a lot. They teached me that you have to make sacrifices to be successful."
FC Bayern can look forward to one of the best strikers in the world, who has managed to keep his feet on the ground. A type of player that will enrich the Bundesliga - not only because of his goals.

What number do you think Toni will wear? He was #30 with Fiorentina.

Number 9 is not owned since Elber left, so Luca can take it if he wants. Or maybe he won't pick up a number until everything with the team is sorted. Roy Makaay could leave with the possible transfer of Klose, and he can pick up the Number 10.
Number 30 is owned by C. Lell, by the way.
