a good signing.the first step towards the major revamp of the bayern camp.
now lets see the bayern of those days.we will be waitng for the next next season of cl.
with hitzfield on the helm and some new faces plus with the promising player bayern already has, bayern can expect to climb the buendesliga quite quick.

Bayern still need a few more ajustments and the team will dominate the bundesliga again.
I expect the likes of Schweini and Podolski to excell this season, specially Podolski after his weak displays last season. I'm looking forward to see what can Jansen and Sosa do for Bayern, I think Bayern signed 2 major future stars. Also, I want to see dos Santos having a few more chances to show his talent.

€11 million seems like a low price for Toni?

Bayern Munich’s new £7.5m signing Luca Toni says he made the choice to leave Italy 'out of respect for Fiorentina.'
This evening both the German and Italian club released statements confirming the transfer for £7.5m and a contract until June 30, 2011 was almost complete.
“We have reached a basic agreement. There are only a few details to be decided before the transfer can be completed,” said the Viola’s official website.
He had been heavily linked with Inter and Juventus over the past year, but opted to stay on for another season to help Fiorentina out of their 15-point Calciopoli penalty before moving to the Bundesliga.
“My transfer to another Italian club would have been more damaging for the Della Valle family,” said the World Cup winner.
“I spent two wonderful years in Florence and am very grateful to the fans. I hope this gesture can help the club.”
In two seasons at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, Toni has scored 47 goals in 67 appearances, including the 2006 Golden Boot with a record 31 Serie A goals.

I have to say, you Bayern guys were absolutely right about Toni.
I look forward to seeing how Toni's Bayern adventure turns out; I fully plan to watch (at least) all the games where he plays.

With Anderson leaving Porto, Kahn should feel some sort of consolation in acquiring the services of one giant killer Luca Toni.

Bayern Munich will pose a major threat to the Bundesiga and Uefa Cup.
One thinh that Bayern were lacking last season was a second striker behind Makaay.
Now Toni has stepped up to it.

@ Diabolico, I can garantee that you'll find the Bundesliga to be very entertaining.
@ jec1, Toni will have just 3 more years, while Anderson has his whole career in front of him, so this isn't consolation at all.
@ blud, Toni was the target man that Bayern were missing, he will work well with Podolski I'm sure. It's kind of similar to the Jancker - Elber partnership.
Toni stays inside the box and battles with the defenders (like Carsten did), while Podolski roams around behind Toni and appears to finish off when Toni flicks it (like Elber did).
Again, we just need a playmaker to complete our squad
