Anyway, I'm enjoying the present, I love seeing Luca bang the goals for Bayern.

yes i completely agree. I didn't see luca retire here either. He will want to spend his last 1-2 years back in serie A.
It's great that we have him and is worth evry cent. I can see him leave in 2010 after we won the champions league
I think 3 years is a good time frame and then both bayern and luca will want a change in faces maybe. It really depends on how regularly he scores and how far we get in the Champions League

Gentleman, Luca Toni is talking shit!!!
I just read in the newspapers (for some reason I can't find the article anywhere in internet) some quotes of Luca Toni.
The article is entitled: "Everyone is unhappy at Bayern"
It says Luca Toni has made two very different declarations in the space of three days.
He initially said that he wants to stay at Bayern, and the next day he said that he can't stay at an 'ugly' atmosphere in Bayern.
The report says Luca is ready to leave.
Again, it quotes Luca saying that 'to be a player of Bayern those days is hard, it looks like here no one is sincere and there are no sincere relations between people, that live for Bayern.
English media are saying that Arsenal and Tottenham are ready to pay Bayern big cash Bayern to secure the services of the supposedly 'unsettled' Italian.
Now, there's my question:
What the fuck is up with the son of a bitch?

i Remember that Bavarian day when all the guys celebrated something and it was very obvious that Bayern Munchen isn't Just a FC .
Look at Makaay . he went back to his home land but still loved and respected at Munchen, He is a part of the club. take Elber as another example ... no sincere relation Haaa Luca 'i do nothing other than taking the ball and losing it' Toni ??
If he wants to leave, And i am very very honest here . It doesn't bother me, it's better .
I don't want to say things that will piss the Italian Guys here so i am waiting for a denying report of some sort .

I dont know if we should believe these words or not, but it's obvious that something wrong is going on. Where is the Harmony at the start of the season...?..where is the beautifull game? why me could beat teams with 3 or more goals in difference and now we hardly can win at home? something is effecting on the game thats for sure...and i want this to end as soon as possible. I hope to see it tomorrow.
Two days ago Toni said for rai uno Tv that he wants to stay for another 3 years and than go back to italy to end his career....very confusing...

I'm pretty sure he was taken out of context. He probably said that the atmosphere at the Allianz Arena isn't that good, which is true.

oh come on guys... this is the mirror. a english paper that is not worth the paper it is written on. same league as the spanish Marca or 4-4-2.com. They love to hear a story how a world class striker like toni would rather play in england, so they make one up. Sure helps them sell their paper instead of the "toni enjoys his stay in munich" headline.
just screw it. If toni moves he will go back to italy in 2-3 years. All the rest: Big bullshit. Want another example to laugh your ass off ?
Harry's Meira mission - Mirror.co.uk
Portsmouth wants to buy Meira from Stuttgart for, and now here is the big shit, 2 (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) Mio Pounds, when they turned juve's 20 mios down this summer. Hahaha. That's the likes of a Mirror article. pure shit

Toni equals record to round off fine start
Bayern’s first four goals against Aris Salonika on Wednesday evening all resulted from blunders by visiting keeper Konstantinos Chalkias, but the fact the goals came about in the same manner was not sheer chance. “During the warm up, we remarked on how the ball was coming very fast off the slippery surface. We knew it would be hard for the keepers,“ revealed Christian Lell. Luca Toni patently took the message to heart, converting all four strikes from close range after Chalkias’ repeated howlers.
“He has a sixth sense telling him where the ball’s going to end up. He’s always there where the action is,“ Uli Hoeneß smiled after the Italian carved himself a place in the club annals. In a 4-1 victory over Benfica twelve years ago, Jürgen Klinsmann became the only previous Bayern man to score four goals in a single UEFA Cup match, a feat now matched by Toni. The 30-year-old fell only one strike short of Gerd Müller’s all-time record in continental competition, a five-goal blast on 24 October 1972 in a 9-0 thrashing of Omonia Nicosia in the European Champions Cup.
Glittering first six months
“I haven’t scored four goals in a game since I was a kid,” a disbelieving Toni grinned afterwards. “It’s the perfect way to end the year.“ The Italian World Cup winner’s gala display against the outclassed Greeks fittingly crowned a sparkling first six months in Munich.
Toni has a remarkable 21 scorer points in 21 competitive appearances, comprising 17 goals and four assists. “He’s ruthless in front of goal, and always takes two or three defenders out of the game,“ Ottmar Hitzfeld commented approvingly. Toni is the leading scorer at the club, but not everything has gone according to plan in his first half year. A knee injury interrupted his pre-season, and he struggled for weeks with a tight hamstring. Nevertheless, his first ten competitive appearances produced no fewer than ten goals.
Not fit, but successful
“Whenever I say I’m 100 percent fit, I fail to score,“ Toni joshed ahead of the Aris clash, although a grain of truth appears to underpin the obtuse theory. The Italian declared himself fully fit in late October, and the goals promptly dried up. The hamstring problem reared its head again in December, but Toni needed just a couple of sessions back in training before netting four on Wednesday.
“He’s come back with a bang. He makes an impression even when he’s not 100 percent fit,“ Hoeneß remarked. “We’ve seen his value to the club this evening.” Toni will hopefully now follow the example set by Klinsmann. The four goals against Benfica 12 years ago were just one dimension to an outstanding season for the former Bayern striker, who went on to score a record 15 times in the club’s UEFA Cup run – a campaign which ended with Bayern lifting the trophy.

17 goals in 21 matches is a fantastic goal quote, I guess we can't ask more from him.
Fantastic striker to have, a goalmachine.

Toni Excited By Klinsmann's Arrival
Bayern striker Luca Toni says he can't wait to work under new boss Jürgen Klinsmann next season. The Italian also discussed the Rekordmeister's current campaign and his aims for the rest of this year.
World champion Luca Toni's first season in Germany has thus-far resembled the performance of Bayern Munich as a whole: blisteringly impressive to begin with, before tailing off in the run-up to Christmas.
As German football prepares to get going again in midweek with the DFB-Pokal matches, the Italian striker took time out to reflect on what has gone by and discuss his aims for the rest of the season.
Better Build-Up Play
Like strike partner Miroslav Klose, Toni has notched nine goals in the Bundesliga so far this season, putting him joint-top of the scoring charts with Hamburg's Rafael Van der Vaart and Bremen's Diego.
But the Italian feels better assist play is the key to him receiving even more scoring opportunities. "It depends on the system but we play a 4-4-2 without an attacking central midfielder," he told Bild.
"At the moment it's working and we don't need to change anything - Ribéry is tremendous [out wide]. But we certainly need to strengthen the side if we're to challenge for the Champions League next season."
Klinsmann Football
Asked about the on-goings at the club over the winter break, most notably the announcement that Jürgen Klinsmann would take over at the Allianz Arena in the summer, Toni revealed his delight at the appointment, but nevertheless stressed that he works well with current boss Ottmar Hitzfeld.
"[Klinsmann] was a great player, in Italy as well," commented Toni of the former Inter forward. "He was a really dangerous striker and experience has shown that such managers like to think in attacking terms. They let you train in an attacking manner and play like that as well. That could really help me to improve.
Winning Matters
"But I don't want to say anymore than that out of respect for Ottmar Hitzfeld," he continued. "Also, we need to concentrate on the here and now and winning everything we can. For Bayern it's only winning that counts - for other clubs defeats aren't so bad," added Toni of the Rekordmeister's title ambitions. "But Bremen and perhaps Schalke too offer stiff competition. I'm sure they lost some points in the league because they were playing in the Champions League too."
No Goal Targets
Asked whether he was aiming to improve on his pre-Christmas tally of 17 club goals and 5 international goals in the second half of the season, Toni stressed that numbers aren't what matter. "I never set myself targets in terms of numbers of goals," he said. "But it's always my aim to improve."
Asked what he thought of Klose's suggestion that he speed up a little, Toni laughed. "Miro's quick enough for the both of us," he joked. "And he provides me with some great assists."
Bayern take on Wuppertaler SV in the German Cup tonight - the third division leaders have switched the game to Schalke's Veltins-Arena to cram in as many supporters as possible.

Bundesliga leading scorer Luca Toni also added his name to the scoresheet on Wednesday evening as Italy defeated Portugal 3-1 in Zurich. Toni fired the World Cup holders into the lead on the stroke of half-time...
