Toni happy with life at Bayern
Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni has expressed his delight at life in Germany following his summer move from Serie A.
The prolific marksman signed for the Bavarian giants for £7m from Fiorentina and has had a blistering start to his Bundesliga career with 10 goals in his first 11 games.
The 30-year-old has formed a devastating partnership with German World Cup star Miroslav Klose, a forward pairing which many believe is the strongest in Europe right now.
“I had a very warm welcome in Bavaria and did not think I would be so looked after even in the training sessions,” Toni told Calcio Italia. “Miroslav Klose and I complement each other. He is an atypical forward, as he is unselfish.
“I hope to score many goals and play a role in winning the title – or Deutscher Meister as they say here – but we also want the UEFA Cup and the German Cup.
“In my career I have scored lots of goals and I am sure that I can continue that run in Munich.”
Bayern are already six points clear at the top of the Bundesliga standings after eight wins and two draws from their first 10 games of the season.

Some 700 miles away, Podolski’s fellow Bayern striker Luca Toni played a pivotal role in Italy’s 2-1 victory over Scotland in Glasgow, netting a crucial opener after just 70 seconds to silence the raucous Hampden Park crowd. The world champions’ triumph sent them to the Euro finals at the Scots’ expense.
“It was a vital goal, because it told them we’d gone there to win,“ Toni declared after a first international goal since a brace against the Scots back in March. The Italian press felt there was more to praise than merely the player’s finishing ability. “Toni fought like a lion, refused to give in to fatigue and was the defining focus for the whole team,“ enthused Tuttosport.
Gazzetta dello Sport rated Toni as “irreplaceable. He got through an unbelievable amount of work, fired Italy into the finals, and at the age of 30, showed complete maturity.“ The downcast losers were big enough to hand out compliments in defeat, exemplified by The Scotsman: “A devastating reverse. Italy had a number of chances, but Toni executed the job. He’s one of the best strikers of our time.“

I think Toni is probably the best finisher in the world atm, I don't know anyone who scores so many goals with few chances like Luca does.

See what she does then. You will have basically turned the tables on her. Tried this a few times, always works.

Toni: I Will Return To Serie A
Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni has revealed that he will return to Serie A, however it will not be next summer.
The 30-year-old hitman left Italy for Germany in the summer, and has had a stunning start to his Bundesliga career, scoring nine goals in his first 12 league games.
This followed a prolific spell for Fiorentina, with whom he hit the back of the net 47 times in 67 Serie A appearances, including 31 in his European Golden Boot-winning season of 2005/06.
“I am just a few goals from reaching the milestone of 100 Serie A goals,” Toni told Domenica Sportiva on Raidue.
“That’s why sooner or later I will return to Italy, but it won’t be next year as it’s still too soon.”
The 6ft 5in marksman has also been in great recent form for Italy, scoring in the crucial 2-1 Euro 2008 qualifying win over Scotland, as well as in the 3-1 success over the Faroe Islands.
Toni’s former teams include hometown club Modena, Vicenza, Brescia and Palermo.

Finding the right club or situation will be difficult though. I think he shouldn't even think about this, and just enjoy his stay in Germany. Bayern will be in the CL next season I imagine, that should be his goal.

Not surprised by his words..
I know he won't retire at Bayern.
He'll eventually return to Serie A one day.
Not sure if he'll finish his contract with Bayern, everything will depend on the situation, on Luca's form and other factors.
I can see him leaving one year before his contract ends, but that's only my predicition.
Anyway, I'm enjoying the present, I love seeing Luca bang the goals for Bayern.
