Luca Toni in Hong Kong
Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni had a first-hand experience of Asia’s fervour for football when he visited Hong Kong last Saturday.
The 2006 Golden Boot winner was in the terrority to grace the official opening of a concept store by Italian sports brand, Lotto.
Toni spent an afternoon meeting fans and signing autographs. Everywhere he went, the press and fans followed his every move.

Toni's Main Worry: The German Language
The player is not concerned about the possibility of finding it hard to score, but rather on the eventual learning of the German language.
Luca Toni had his first training session with Bayern Munich on Tuesday as he is preparing himself for the new season with the German giants to kick off his Bundesliga adventure.
For the former Fiorentina striker, this first season in Germany will be an important one as he targets to win all there is to win with Bayern, no matter if he speaks German or not.
"I'm learning slowly," admitted the World Cup winning striker when asked about the German language. "It could be difficult to understand German, but football has a common language, which is that of scoring goals, and with regards to that I don't have a problem.
"This Bayern side is a team built to win and we shall try to do so. Our objective is to win both the Bundesliga and the Uefa Cup,” promised the Italian striker.

No doubt that Toni will score 20+. He will be the main target man up front and receive many of the long balls. Klosi will benefit as well as many defenders will be marking Toni and let Klose off the hook a bit.

he's very capable of scoring 20 but he will have to adjust to the way the play in germany because in italy it was more defensive

I believe Toni scored two goals for Bayern the other day, in a 18-0 win. Congrats to Toni, hope he succeeds. Miss him though

Ya, i will miss him when the season kicks off again. We will miss seeing his goals and his celebration routine as well. At least we will see him in September for the France game.

Luca Toni scored another brace for Bayern in pre season. I believe that's a total of 5 goals in 3 games for him so far. Impressive. (or 4 goals in 2 games) either way, impressive.
