Kroos Set For Bayern Exit?

Quote:
Bayern Munich youngster Toni Kroos is reportedly growing increasingly dissatisfied with his role at the club and could very well be contemplating his future at the Bavarian club.

Bayern’s super talent is considering a possible move away from the Allianz Arena according to reports in Kicker.

His father Roland has allegedly told the club that his son is looking for more playing time in order to quicken his development as a player.

Bayern are showing understanding but the prospects for the talented midfielder don’t look all that rosy this season with a number of proven internationals ahead of him in the Bayern pecking order.

The Kroos family will wait another month to see how things work out, and then hold potentially decisive talks in December with the club’s leadership.

Kroos has a contract with Bayern until 2012 and it is unlikely that Bayern would be willing to sell him. A loan move, however, could be on the cards with a whole host of Bundesliga clubs already being linked with his name.

He has made just two starts this season, with three additional substitute appearances.

Hoeness Tells Kroos To Step Up His Game

Quote:
Bayern Munich general manager Uli Hoeness has challenged Toni Kroos to make it impossible for Juergen Klinsmann to leave him out of the starting lineup.

Having managed just two starts this season, the promising youngster is reportedly growing increasingly dissatisfied with his role at the club and could very well be contemplating a departure.

Bayern are showing understanding but the prospects for the talented midfielder don’t look all that rosy this season with a number of proven internationals ahead of him in the Bayern pecking order.

"He has got to improve," was Hoeness' assessment in Munich daily Tz."When I was 18 and came to Bayern, I had to compete with national team players. I knocked them to the side one by one and when I was 20, I was in the national team myself.

"Every training game with Bayern gives him more than a league game with an average team, where he may end up losing every week."

Kroos, 18, has a contract with Bayern until 2012 and it is unlikely that Bayern would be willing to sell him. A loan move, however, could be on the cards with a whole host of Bundesliga clubs already being linked with his name.

He actually makes a point there.

Look at Borowski. He has worked his ass off and has managed to get into the starting 11.

Tim managed to start up, Because Lahm was injued and cuz Ze moved as a left back so he is the ideal player to play as CM. I cannot see Boro starting up next match.

About Kroos, I like the idea of sending him in loan, he will play and gain some exp...

Kroos To Klinsmann: Play Me Or Else

Quote:
Bayern Munich youngster Toni Kroos has admitted that he is contemplating his future at the Bavarian club as he continues to struggle for regular first team football.

The German media have been speculating for quite some time already that the hugely promising midfielder is increasingly prepared to force a move in order to quicken his development as a player.

The 18-year-old only intensified the speculation when he told the press: "Whether I leave or not is up to me. But I have seen my situation improve a bit lately."

Bayern are showing understanding but the prospect for the talented midfielder does not look all that rosy this season with a number of proven internationals ahead of him in the pecking order.

The Kroos family will wait another month to see how things work out, and then hold potentially decisive talks in December with the club's leadership.

... Seriously. In the first one, the words are taken as a calm and cool approach to the situation. The 2nd one is as if he's trying to pick a fight or something.

Kroos is a really young player, he is in no position in the first place to make demands. Plus every media story has to paint a gloomy picture for players at bayern. Hitzfeld had even told him to take it easy and not expect too much too soon. Who knows what is going on, but Kroos is a future star, but he really needs to calm down a bit.

Kroos is starting to sound like Podolski and we all know what happens at Bayern when you start to whine a lot, so Kroos needs to chill.

I dont like player whining over playing time but i think Kroos has a point.

I think everyone is in agreement that he has the potential to be one of the best players in Germany. Hes shown he is far superior to everyone in his age group with performances and the U-17's and the U-21's.

He is about to turn 19. At that age players like Agruero, Messi, and Ronaldo were all playing all the time for their clubs. Kroos needs to play if he's going to get better.

Sometimes i wonder what goes on in Klinsmann's mind

I agree, but with 7 wins and a draw in our last 8 games...Klinsmann can do what he wants as long as we keep seeing those results.
