Lell and Gorlitz for FB as well, we're well covered there.

CB's I'm not sure. All our 3 starting CB's can be really dodgy at times and we still don't know if Breno is any good.
However, I don't think we'll sign another CB and it's not absolutely needed.

i don't think he'll change the formation, but it's good to have as many options as we do now. Kroos and Piggy can play CM if needed, same for Hamit; Sosa and Ribery are the only true wingers we have. I'd keep them all, or perhaps just loan out Sosa, but to another Bundesliga club.

Ze is a class midfielder, but he is no leader and never will be. MVB might have leader qualities but i think he has poor tackling skills and is no use in opening the game offensivly
Also, I know Ze looks like a 20 year old by the way he plays, but fact is he's 33. I don't think he'll play more than one season after this one, so we also need to start looking for a long term replacement, but again that is not absolutely needed atm.

As for Van Bommel, I don't rate him as good enough to be the starting DM for FC Bayern. He is a good player, useful in matches where we need to destroy the opponents in midfield, but his tackling is shit for a DM and he lacks self-control, I can only imagine if he's on a yellow card, on the last 30 mins of a CL final, when we're losing against a club like Man Utd or Barça, he'd get sent off in a matter of seconds.

Ottl is just a good reserve, nowhere near Bayern class.

I don't think we'll be able to sign any Italians, only if Lippi had become Bayern manager. We've all agreed that Masch is class, but we also all agreed that it isn't a very realistic target, seeing as all of Europe's biggest clubs will go for him and the bundesliga is currently not attractive enough.

By the way, you've forgot someone, Tim Borowski!
Now, I know he is no saviour, but still a good option. In terms of numbers, we aren't short on midfielders, in terms of class, we lack a DM.

Personall I don't really believe Hoeness, we are in a good enough financial position to push for at least 1 star player. For me, those statements from Hoeness may just be a way of driving media attention away from Bayern, so that we have time and space (if you know what I mean), to look for the player we need.

But, if Klinsmann isnt playing any star signings, then I guess we'll have to live with what we've got..

On a side note, Lucho Gonzalez would be my first choice if we are to sign a CM. He may not look like a DM, but that's just the position he plays for Porto, where he's the most offensive CM of our 3 mids in the 4-3-3. Lucho is a very good tackler, he played at DM in our 4-3-3 for several occasions last season, when we had Anderson. Just one thing is that Lucho doesn't cover a big enough area perhaps, but we have Ze to do the running.

Well I don't think we need a DM for next season at least. After Ze leaves - yes, but not now, since most of the goals we've conceded are because of mistakes from the defenders.
What we need fast is the playmaker, one Ribery just isn't enough.

My mate who lives in Germany, told me that Kaiser has suggested that FCB needs a Number 10.

What do you guys think?

We already have a #10. Toni Kroos. Yeah he's still rough around the edges, we could see that when he missed the best chance of the game against the Lions, but he's young and more than capable of learning and becoming better.

I don't think we need a new DM. Borowski is coming and as i have said in the past, we could rotate our DMs ; ZeRo, MVB, Boro & Ottl. It would be smart to be scouting for a new DM for when ZeRo leaves at the end of next season. Since he has stated that he might go to the US.

I don't think loaning out Sosa would be smart. Yeah, he hasn't showed his performances from Estudiantes but he has done what he can. I think it would be messed up to loan him out.

He said that like two weeks ago.
But I disagree with your current formation you don't need a #10 but another decent #7. But if Klinsmann changes the formation next season then you won't need one either because Ribery also can play as #10. He has proven that in the Liga Pokal where he played as playmaker. In one or two years Kroos will be ready to play a whole season and then you have an excellent #10.

^ I agree with Dragoen's comments, Ribery with Kroos as backup. We have the capabilities. I am glad that Bayern won't go on another spending spree or even look to get more stars, this will leave the current players in tact and Klinsman will just have to work it out!

Two names have been linked with us recently:

Daniele De Rossi [AS Roma] and Mladen Petric [Borussia Dortmund].

Your opinions?

De Rossi would be great.
A really good DM and Toni said that he wants to convince other italian players to join you.

The Petric rumour is new to me but he joined Dortmund just last summer which is pretty short and should at first look if he can keep his performances up in his second season and I think that he would not really suit to Bayern.

agreeed. I haven't heared any rumors over Petric tbh. Where did you get that one from buddy ?
And yeah Petric is more of a counter attack striker with a strong left foot. I can really not see him helping us a lot.

De rossi is a totally different thing. I would absolutely love to see him play in the bayern jersey. Maybe Toni can get that cell phone of his going and convince him.
But the last i heard of de rossi is that he always wanted to be captain of Roma and he would stay with them for the rest of his life....
so ... NOt sure about either rumor especially as hoeness and kalle both said that they would only make "minor adjustments" if any...

Erm, my mate lives in Germany, so he reports to me anything he hears of a possible transfer and what's going on at Bayern that we don't know or that media don't report. Don't know if there's any truth in this, anyway.

Petric is a good player, with a good technique. He's an offensive allrounder, he's more or less a Schlaudraff type of player, so that definately means we don't need him at all.

According to English tabloid The People, West Ham United has offered 10 million pounds (13 million euros) to Bayern to secure the services of Luca Toni for next season.

Dream on

I read that on tm.de the comments from the Bayern fun were really fun reading.

This is like one of the most stupid rumours ever.
Next up is Ribery to Fulham and diego to Betis Sevilla

lol yeah or VdV to Aston Villa

I also checked transfermarkt.de Gerüchteküche is always fun to check out: And I agree with all of the guys there.
For 10 Mios they can buy his left shoe ! Any offer under 30 Millions will just be used as toilet paper by Honess

I agree. Schlaudraff has the Petric slot filled. Even though his strengths are more in the passing game and dribbling. Where Petric just has a great left foot

De Rossi idk yet. His contract ends next season. We should def try this. I think
90 % he will extend that contract pretty soon. but if he doesn't it would be the last chance for Roma to cash in 20 + Mios

tm.de always has the newest rumours because of the extrem high number of users searching for rumours plus they have such an imense number of statistics you can really spend hours there and you will always find something new.
The bad thing is the high number of trolls in the forum. MarkvanBommel *sigh*

But the one you should really try to get is Queresma. Ribery and Queresma together would be nearly unstoppable.

^ Quaresma is someone of a bad temper. I wouldn't risk having him. Ribery might snap here and there but Quaresma tends to go further.
