Regardless if Klose comes to Bayern this year or not, we don't NEED him per say. We'll be just fine without him.

This deal is sort of "icing on the cake" so to speak for all our transfers this offseason.

Well I think we need him mate. Santa Cruz isn't a valid option anymore and this is our last chance of selling Makaay, as he ends his contract at the end of the seaosn.

Klose would be perfect

Yes, SC is garbage. I agree. But he can hold his own until Poldi is healthy. He did score in our last few games, right?

I realize this is a very optimistic viewpoint, seeing as Poldolski didn't exactly have an unbelievable season last year, but every year is a new year and one never knows what could happen, especially with a bolstered midfield helping out.

IMO what Poldi missed last season was someone to deliver the killer passes, like Ballack does on the NT. Now we have Ze Roberto, so I reckon Poldi will have a better season.

We have some options on our junior squad. Louis Mahop played a few minutes last season, Schlaudraff and Toni Kroos can both partner Toni as second strikers.

If Klose does come, then we will have one of the most powerful strike forces in Europe
