Tbh I think it's just pure speculation, but Toni is a great striker, would be a very good additon for Bayern.

I think he won't do anything until next year or Fiorentina won't do anything until next year.
There whole team depends on them staying up in Serie A. Getting rid of Toni now would be extremely stupid.
If they thought that way, they would of sold him to Inter at the begining of the season, where Toni wanted to go.
Fiorentina management held tough, and now there only goal is too stay up in Serie A. Next year there won't be any point penalty, they will sell Toni, and find a replacement.
Until then, the goal is not to get relegated.

Rummenigge is looking for a top player to sign in the summer.
Jager, is he worth spending 30m € when he'll be 30 years old ?

haha, that's the million dollar question. Pardon the pun.
Italian footballers have a longer "life span" than non Italians, some think its how we develop players.
That might be a little too much to be honest. But he is worth a lot more than you think a 30 year old would go for.
Toni is a beast. One of the best headers in the game, great power in his shots, great power in his ability to out power defenders.
For that price, I think Fiorentina would sell.

Rumennigge said he is willing to spend 30m € on a star player.
Is Toni the right one ?

Nope.
No player is the right one. Very risk bid for a player that has never played in your league before.
Look at Ballack and Sheva.
I wouldn't do it as a manager, I would rather get some younger players and develop them or get players that have a track record in your league.

In the Bundesliga, the only player worth 30m € is Klose, but he already rejected moving to Bayern.

Of course not, why would they sell to a city rival?

Bremen are able to negociate, Klose is the one that doesn't want to move.
Besides Klose, there aren't anymore world class players.

Your probably better off going for a young Brazilian, or even David Trezequet, as I think he will be availiable.
Tavez?
Not so certain that Luca Toni wants to play outside of Italy. I have seen many interviews with him, and I don't see that.
You could take a chance on Adriano, but you will need a backup for him.

So basically, Toni isn't the best choice.
Adriano, I'm not sure if he's the right player.
Tevez, might be a good signing, but the one I would really like to see there is El Niño.
