Valencia Interested In Sagnol
Bayern Munich full back Willy Sagnol is attracting the renewed attention of Spanish side Valencia, who are reportedly lining up a summer bid for the Frenchman.
Sagnol has played just nine games for Bayern Munich this season and has vented his frustration already over his lack of opportunities following his return from a long injury lay-off.
Valencia made a bid for Sagnol last summer but were rebuffed by the Bavarians, but it appears the Primera Liga side are ready to launch a new approach for the full back.
Sagnol remains under contract at the Allianz Arena until 2010, but reports claim that Bayern could be prepared to let him go for around €2 million.
Valencia coach Ronald Koeman has not made an official bid for the player but it is believed that contact has been made with Sagnol’s agent to find out whether such a move would be attractive to him.

Goal.com is getting worse, day by day. 2m fucking millions ? You have to be kidding me.
As for Sagnol leaving, I say let him go. He has been shit this season, very injury prone, IMO isn't captain standard although he is in line to take the armband and he isnt getting any younger.

De Rossi to Bayern?
De Rossi To Bayern?
German league leaders Bayern Munich are interested in signing Italian international Daniele de Rossi according to reports in ‘Bild’. With Mark van Bommel’s star waning in the Bavarian capital, Bayern look to have found a replacement at Roma.
Bayern striker Luca Toni has voiced his desire for the club to sign another Italian and according to the Bild newspapers information, de Rossi is the man the Bayern bosses have in mind.
The Roma midfielder was linked with a move to Bayern last summer and the rumours of his arrival look set to be put in motion yet again.
The rumours that Bayern are looking for a replacement for van Bommel have intensified in recent days following his second red card within the space of a few weeks at the weekend against Bochum.
Following the latest sending off Bayern trainer Ottmar Hitzfeld commented: “We’ve discussed one or two situations.”
The Luca Toni factor cannot be underestimated either. “It is no secret that I would love to have another Italian in the team” Toni explained.
“My colleagues ask me a lot about life in Munich. The club have to decide, but I would be delighted if they did.”
The arrival of de Rossi would certainly please the Bundesliga’s leading scorer as it is understood the two have a good relationship.

I'd love to see De Rossi joining Bayern, but I can't see it happening.

He'll cost way too much, and won't want to leave Roma. Plus there are others out there with loads of talent and cheaper than De Rossi. We are getting Borowski, and it will be interesting to see if he does anything, or end up like Frings under too much pressure and left Bayern.

What about Arsenal's Flamini ?
Arguably the best DM in the EPL so far this season, his contract runs out at the end of the season and he hasn't started negotiations with Arsenal yet.
On a free, it would be great signing IMO.

I've been hearing good words about the guy recently, but I haven't seen him play a single match yet. Can't say anything.

Not sure how reliable this is, but Sven (Chelsea fan) put Flamini on his EPL team of the year
Anything is better than Ottl

One of us is better than Ottl. I seriously can't stand him on the field.

Flamini would be an excellent player to have in the squad, really.
But the Fla-Fa partnership that has been introduced in Arsenal's game is way too good for them to let Flamini just leave like that. I don't think he'll come.

His contract is expiring, there isn't really much Arsenal can do to stop Flamini from leaving. The biggest problem is that there will be other clubs interested of course.. But maybe Ribery can convince Flamini to join us!
We should try to get him, he could turn out a great signing, specially for free.
Ott is a good reserve, yes, a starter for FC Bayern, no.
