Boruc wouldn't be buy, because he is expensive. Heoness said that we will buy second goalkeeper. i don't think that Boruc could be second.

Of course he's expensive, what did you expect? A good goalkeeper is always expensive. We will play in Champions League again next season, against higher calibre teams than we've faced this year in the UEFA Cup. Rensing is just not good enough for that level, you can't risk with a goalkeeper who makes those amateur mistakes Rensing made recently.

No, Hoeness didn't say that. He only confirmed Rensing will be no.1 goalie next season.
But trust me, he'll change his mind soon, if he's not changed it already.

to be honest i think boruc is highly overrated. I am not saying he is not better than Rensing. But is he worth 13 mios ???? Hell no. If we want to spend that much money on a goalie you can get a lot better ones then Artur Boruc. He is no experience at all in playing in a top league with pressure in every single game.
IF we really throw out 13 mios for a goalie, there is a lot better ones you can get for the same price:
Adler, Enke, Sebastian Frey and a LOT more.

Boruc will be great, I will replay again ,after a hundred times, my favorites young goalkeepers are Boruc (he is 28, but its ok) and Akinfeev (he is 21)....
I think he worth 13 mil. he is a greeeat goalie, but I will be happy with Frey or Adler too, only that Rensing will not be no. 1!

Podolski wants Artur Boruc in Bayern
German football club Bayern Munich may be interested in hiring the Polish goalkeeper Artur Boruc.
Speculations that the current Celtic Glasgow goalie is on the wish list of the famous German team began when Bayern's Oliver Kahn (39) announced he would be retiring at the end of this season.
'I would love to see Artur Boruc on our team. In my opinion, he is one of the best goalkeepers in the world,’ Bayern Munich and Germany national team's striker of Polish origin, Lukas Podolski told Super Express Saturday.
Artur Boruc would certainly feel at home in Munich, as alongside Lukas Podolski, he would also have the support of another Polish-born Bayern and Germany player Miroslav Klose.

I agree with Eric here, I don't think Boruc is the world class goalkeeper he is made out to be. He has had some good games for Celtic in the CL, but for Poland he wasn't nowhere near as good, at least in the Euro qualifiers he wasn't.
For 13m €, we can do better than Boruc. Get Adler, German, young and top class.

Journalists all over the world make up all kind of crap, we can't even call it journalism anymore, as its more of entertainment of sorts since everything gets made up. In fact I trust all of you more than the news stories coming down the pipeline. Oh well, sometimes its fun speculating, but can we speculate on some better players with some better stories.

Only now you've noticed how good he is? Hence why he's rated the best German goalkeeper at the moment. I'd love to see him join us, but I don't think that will happen soon. He has recently extended his contract with Leverkusen (until 2012, if I remember correctly), and he said he loves it at Leverkusen. He'd cost a lot, aswell.

Can we survive without Kahn in goal and with Rensing there ? I honestly don't think so. And even if we do sign someone, it will be nearly impossible to replace King Kahn..

Would be worth every single penny though. We would have the goalkeeper situation solved for the next 10 years.
Things change in football at the speed of light, something you say today, means nothing tomorrow and money talks.
We should at least try and make an approach, see what they want. And we can always add Rensing to the deal

Yeah, true. An approach wouldn't cost anything.

That's my main worry for next season. What will we do without Kahn next season? I keep asking my mates the same question every day.
It won't be easy to replace him. Certainly Rensing isn't a candidate.

^^ About Kahn, we will never be able to "replace him". We'll have another quality keeper like that in a couple of decades. We just have to find the best keeper who will do a good job.
Even i'm starting to lose faith in Rensing, and that's bad news for him. I was the only one around here who actually trusted the guy.
He better get a game soon so he can show what he's worth.
