Fritz I don't rate that highly as RB, he is more of an RM for me. Would be too much of a downgrade IMO.
I'd sell Lahm as well if that the guy wants to go to Barça. We can't afford to have Lahm leaving for free like Ballack. But 10m ? Seems far too little for someone as good as Lahm..
@ Trim, why are you so happy about what Hoeness said ?
He said this "I cannot believe hed negotiate with Barcelona behind our backs., doesn't mean he didn't does it ?
|
Rafinha would be an okay replacement, no Castro and no Fritz, def not.
I'm sure Hoeness and Co. will have talks with Lahm on his future. I'm sure the first option is to extend his contract, which I hope Lahm does.
Incase he doesn't, than Bayern will put him up for sale. Bayern learnt from the Ballack mistake when Chelsea got him for free, so no chance Lahm will go for free aswell.
As for the price, Lahm would be sold for +20 million euros. Or maybe he could go for less, as teams know his contract would expire after a year, and wait for a free transfer and not spend 20 million. I'm afraid Lahm could go somewhere for +10m, just like Klose came to Bayern.
We'll see how things went.
But, I don't think Lahm has signed pre-contracts with Barca and/or held talks with them behind Bayern's back. It's just Marca who's adding fuel to the fire. They report crap always.

WTF is wrong with you man??
10 ??
at least 25m. he is the best in his position Plus he is young Plus this is La Liga with the big money Plus Real bought Pepe for around 25m.

well first of all he dubuted in the NT in february 2004 against croatia. he returned to us in summer 2005 (!!!) so he had several caps when he came back.
secondly his contract ends in 2009. so 25 millions for a player who already signed with his new club in in 2008 that is ridiculous. it was the same situation with klose and he cost us 11 millions. both the very same situation. so 12-13 millions : realisitc, 25 millions ? red and white wet dreams....

25m is what i consider a good value for Lahm ....
Please .... Klose is 29 and Lahm is 24, you can't compare plus, wasn't the best ih his position when we bought him .... we had Toni.
Lahm is 24 and you can't find someone like him atm in europe .
so we must start appreciating what we have ...
That 2008 contract crap doesn't convince me at all .

Forget about he's 24, forget about he's the best, forget everything.
Remember that he has a valid contract until 2009.
You can't ask more from teams, because they say 'okay, fuck off'.
They'll wait till his contract runs out and get him for free.

Who do you make such a stupid question?
How are we supposed to know when Hoeness himself doesn't know.

Don't get me wrong, please.
What does our opinion matter on this case?
It's an useless opinion, isn't it?
How can we know?
I bet Lahm himself doesn't know either.
Read the posts above, everyone of us has commented on the case.
We all hope to see him stay, but chances are he will leave.
Whether he'll stay, or leave (and when and such..), nobody knows.

Shall we stop talking about a possible Lahm departure please?
Just read this one for a moment, please: Rummenigge denies Hitzfeld departure quote
Tells enough the crap level of 'Marca' magazine.
Full of crap gentleman, and I've warned you before.
Media live from lies, rumors and crap reports. I know, because I'm a journalist myself.

Lahm was born in Munich, and started from the lower ranks of the Bayern München club academy.
He was loaned to Stuttgart for one year, and that's all.
And they made him who he is, right? Haha.
Please..

He played there 2 years.... So i could ask the same to you. You are even a Bayern fan aren't you?!
I'm not counting on Lahm to be signed yet, obviously there are other teams interested. He's a fullback who i like though and along with Puyol, Milito and Abidal he could form the perfect defence

BARCELONA, Set to earn new contract with Philip Lahm
BARCELONA, Set to earn new contract with Philip Lahm
According to German Tv, Bayern Munchen and Barcelona would have reached an agreement for the transfer of defender Philip Lahm to the Catalan club starting to 15 million euros. It has found an agreement between Barcelona and Bayern Munchen for the transfer to Spain of the defender Philip Lahm.
The two clubs had reached an agreement on the basis of 15 million euros even blaugrana, hoping in the contract end of the 24 year-old defender (June 2009).
Since many time Barça observe Lahm, which has ready a contract or four years.
It seems probable that the German defender could be sold still in the January market: for the conclusion of negotiations must wait the end of season.
