Kopfzerbrechen bereitet auch Bastian Schweinsteiger, der sich beharrlich weigert, einen neuen Kontrakt zu unterschreiben. Sein Vertrag läuft noch bis 2009. Er hat beschlossen: Vor der EM wird er auf keinen Fall verlängern.

Auch er scheint durchaus Gefallen an dem Gedanken gefunden zu haben, künftig sein Gehalt bei einem ausländischen Verein zu beziehen. Optionen in dieser Richtung gibt es offenbar zur Genüge. Inter Mailand, Juventus Turin oder auch Aston Villa sollen Schweinsteiger auf ihrer Einkaufsliste haben.

Schweinsteiger's contract runs out in summer 2009. He has refused to extend his contract now.

He says he will not decide whether he will extend or not before the Euro 2008.

Teams interested in him are supposedly Inter, Juventus and Aston Villa.

Schweinsteiger has been one of the major disappointments this season, he has played about 30 games all comps and had 5 good performances.

We can get a nice fee for him, if we decide to let him go in the summer

Schweinsteiger has turn too ambitious with the ball at his feet. Than sadly he fucks everything up especially when he passes or crosses the ball.

He's like a tractor. Holds the ball way too much, and slows down the play.

He is a different player there

It's a fact that he has played much better for the NT than for Bayern.

But even for NT he hasn't played really good like we are used to see him play.

I've said Altintop > Schweini after the first few weeks of this season.
And it's a fact, Schweini is playing just because Hamit is injured.

Klinsmann won't let him go, that's a fact.

atm I prefer Sosa, not that he has been amazing, but he can at least send some decent crosses. Kroos I quite like, but I don't think he is yet ready

Schweini is great at crosses and if Bayern uses his talent more, he will become a top assist man. I don't agree at all with anyone who says he doesn't cross well. He's on target far more than he's off.
