#11 Lukas Podolski ~ Set for exit?
Quote:
Lukas Podolski has admitted his frustration at life at champions Bayern Munich for the first time since moving from home-town club 1. FC Koeln during the summer. “It’s not how I imagined it would be right now,” he said, though said he was sure he will establish himself at the Bavarian giants.
"My time will come, I will score goals here. I'm not worried that I might not make it here," he added, though said he fully expected to start on the bench when Bayern take on Inter Milan in a Champions League group B clash on Wednesday.
Podolski spent the entire 90 minutes of Bayern's 2-1 victory of Aachen last Saturday on the bench, and admitted he "doesn't think much will change".
Coach Felix Magath explained after the Blackburn game that his intention was to slowly build the 21 year-old back to fitness after his exertions in the World Cup, and insisted "He needs time, and I'll give it to him."
So far, the only match in which Podolski has played the full 90 minutes for his new club came in the 4-0 defeat of Spartak Moscow in the Champions League.

See what she does then. You will have basically turned the tables on her. Tried this a few times, always works.

"Well, that was fun... in a fuckin' terrible, sick, not-at-all-fun way."
Ricardo Quaresma: forever a Porto legend. Thank you for all the memories.

Prince Poldi has to be happy, he scored last night against Inter in a 2-0 victory for the German Champions.

Just because he won the award and Ronaldo didn't.
Podolski or Prince Poldi is a great player only 20 or 21 so he has alot of time to become even better.
I hope to see him scoring in Lisbon.

He was great for Cologne last season, I expect him to do great things for Bayern.

Prince Poldi scored twice in today's Germany victory over Slovakia.
I hope he maintains and starts scoring for Bayern.

Another poor game by Podolski in Bayern's 3-1 defeat against Bremen.
He was sub by Karimi at the 69th min.

Bad news for German Champions FC Bayern München: Striker Lukas Podolski will be sidelined for three weeks with an ankle injury.
German national coach Joachim Löw will have to make do without the former Cologne player as well. Podolski is set to miss the Euro 2008 qualifier against Cyprus away on November 15th.
Podolski's ankle will be in plaster for eight days.
Replaced by Maierhofer
"It's a real shame that Lukas is injured, especially with the matches coming thick and fast at the moment. It's really sad for him as well. We will offer him any support to get fit as soon as possible", Bayern Head Coach Felix Magath said.
Podolski's place in the squad for the Bundesliga match against Eintracht Frankfurt will be taken by reserve team striker Stefan Maierhofer, the goalgetter for the Regional League South team.
Injured in training
Podolski suffered the injury in a training session on Thursday when he clashed with Mark van Bommel, but he carried on initially.
Only when the pain intensified on Friday he reported to the medics, and they detected ligament damage in his ankle.

Quote:
Lukas Podolski's injured ankle has not healed as quickly as expected and the Germany striker will be out for a prolonged spell, Bayern Munich coach Felix Magath has said.
Podolski, 21, suffered the injury in training four weeks ago in a challenge with team mate Mark van Bommel.
He was expected to be out for three weeks but has only just been able to start light running and it is unclear when he will resume full training with his team-mates.
"His recovery isn't making progress the way we had hoped," Magath said. Podolski's target was to return for Bayern against VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga on November 18.
Podolski, who was named the best young player at this year's World Cup, moved from Cologne to Bayern before the season and after a poor start his form has been steadily improving.
Champions Bayern have been hit hard by injuries this season. Their England midfielder Owen Hargreaves and centre back Valerien Ismael are also on the long-term casualty list.
