Good defence

After conceding just 28 goals so far this season the Everton defence is looking to achieve their best goals conceded tally since the 1987/88 season. Tim Howard have done real well and same have Lescott, Jagielka and Yobo. All of them are having a good season. With good help from the midfielders Everton have turn to be a though team to score on.

Our defence has been very good this season with the exception of one or two nightmare periods i.e. second half against Arsenal at Goodison.

We had height, pace, strength and compusre. A backline of Neville - Yobo - Jagielka and Lescott has been superb. That's without Leighton Baines, who is also a very good player.

Not to mention Lescott's goal tally. Remarkable.

The strongest part of Evertons side by a distance. Success next season will count on making this better as much as improving your attacking options. Another strong defender, a good defensive midfielder who is clever at distributing the ball and a fast attacker for counters would make Everton very tough to beat.
