Default Kallstrom tempted by Everton move

Setanta

Quote:
Talismanic Lyon midfielder Kim Kallstrom has welcomed reports of a summer move to Everton in an exclusive interview with setantasports.com.

The Sweden international insists he is happy at French champions Lyon, but he admits he is tempted by the lure of The Premier League.

Kallstrom has been linked with a move to Goodison Park in recent weeks, and the stylish midfielder revealed Everton are the kind of club that he would be interested in should he leave Stade Gerland.

However, for now he is focused on helping Lyon win the Ligue 1 title, but he admitted a switch to Everton and The Premier League could be on the cards after Euro 2008.

"Maybe, it's a great championship so why not, but at the moment I'm concentrating on playing in France," Kallstrom told setantasports.com.

"Lyon is a great club and I hope I stay there for a long time.

"It's the first time I've heard anything about it (Everton's interest) so I don't know actually.

"Why not? Why not? It's a great club that plays at the top of The Premier League so why not?

"You never know, we'll see in the summer after the Euros."

Should Fernandes carry on performing how he has I'd be more than happy to see the money that we could use to buy manuel spent on him instead. Bringing in him and a good dm would complete our midfield totally in areas of depth and quality.
