Everton's attempt to sign Inter Milan's Holland winger Andy van der Meyde looks doomed to failure after he revealed he wants to stay in Italy.
The 24-year-old's agent Chiel Dekker said: "Everton were interested in signing Van der Meyde but they did not make an official offer to the club.
"He had a difficult first season at Inter but he is looking forward for the coming campaign," said Dekker.
Everton are also weighing up a move for Red Star Belgrade defender Milan Dudic.
Everton manager David Moyes said: "We have had a look at Dudic, but whether we'll do anything is another matter."
Dont blame him. Id rather stay with Inter than play for Everton
