The best Pop's in the tournament
The best Pop's in the tournament for me are Modric and Arshavin .....
They are Unbeatable, I can ad Turan to my list too.

Arshavin and Modric definately. modric was probably more of a "pop" because Arshavin, we knew from the UEFA cup, while modric was new for me at least. but arshavin is a big one too, from a russian league player to an argueable best european player!
I don't know, arda turan did not impress me... maybe because I did not watch the turkey- zcech match. but I've seen the good feedback he got.
englaar - holland's midfielder - was amazing I thought against italy but did not put such great performance afterwards. surprising that he's an 28-year-old playing for FC twente... I think he should be in a bigger club.
one player who impressed me but I can't realy call it a "pop" is Joaoh Moutinho. I hadn't seen him before and now I think he's a class player.
I want to add that it was nice to see the amazing players of valencia play like they used to, after we had seen poor performances of them this season... david silva on top.

Arshavin and Modric did not really pop for me. They were more or less known before.
For me more players like Sionk(maybe a bit too old to pop)
Arda Turan(never before heard of him)
Engelaar (heard of him before but only because of the Schalke rumours)
Pawljutschenko(also never heard of him)

Anyone heard about Kolodin [Russia] and Goian [Romania] before this tournament? I thought they were great, the 2 best CB's after PEPE.
Arda Turan is the player that really popped for me, I had never heard of him or seen him play before. Engelaar was a good surprise, I had heard of him before, but didn't know he was that good.
I also never heard of Pavlyuchenko before this tournament. I don't think he was as good as people are making it out to be though.

'Pop' and 'popped', are used often. Also 'flop' and 'flopped'.
Pops and flops of something (tournament, whatever..)
