Its a friendly, I wouldn't put too much into it. Capello doesn't.

The goal is to get the side ready for qaulifying. Getting France is a good test, who is at this stage, farther ahead of experimental english sides.

You dont have to keep watching England play poor time after time. Then see the likes of Steve Gerrard, Lampard, Rooney and co play wonderful games for there clubs.

Well... the performance was OK, we weren't particularly dominated, and the only way France scored was via a penalty, although it definitely was one.

England looked quite well organised and didn't just hoof the ball forward the whole time which is encouraging but we didn't really threaten much... we need someone to partner Rooney.

Rooney ain't a clean striker who can play alone up front. He need a player beside him or he need to be the player who sets up the alone striker.

To be honest, England played better, they had the ball more. It's a shame France don't play better. They can, and they still don't. So many great players, they are just not combined as a team, and their coach doesn't help either. They have a strong defence, it deserves praise for yesterday's performance.

Good to see Ribéry scoring yesterday.
