Friendly: England - Switzerland..Capello's debut.
This is not a walk through for England, they will have it tough against the Swiss. It will be interesting to see how the players react to Cap, but I'm not expecting much, and I hope the English media doesn't think much either.

Need another striker, brilliant as Rooney is we need someone with pace upfront as well.

England should be good enough to win against a average side like Switzerland at home with one more striker up front.

Rooney has blistering Pace, but anyway, I see how two strikers would help. I like Crouch (did a few nice touches and hold up play after coming on)...
Rooney and Crouch up front? When both on form I think that it would work pretty well.

I felt encouraged more than anything tbh.
The game wasn't brilliant, but it certainly wasn't "typical Italian holding onto a 1 goal lead to get the job done" as some of the media labelled it.
I thought we really went for it but with caution, which is what should be done.
I don't think Capello can be accused of playing defensively, he started the game with no true DMs even though he did play 4-5-1 (or 4-4-1-1 if u wanna be pinickity).
The pressing game worked quite well defensively I thought, although a few defensive lapses let them in a couple of times.
I was pretty surprised by how terrible Brown's passing was in the first half, really struggled to find another England player lol.
Rooney played really well but I can't believe he didn't score, he missed a couple of sitters (and a couple of chances which he made for himself) but still.
Bentley... I think he's real quality and his passing yesterday was spot on, really talented player and I'm glad he was given the start ahead of SWP and allowed the whole game.
Overall the team looked cohesive, the best thing was I honestly don't remember much hoofball being played, even when Crouch was on the pitch, it was a lot of patient football into feet, and that's the way forward.
On to France now, I can't wait.

WTF? The media is already jumping on his back? One game?
Defending a lead is bad..oh my.
Stupid not too, since the last time I checked England is not Brazil.
