Robinson has to be dropped the guy is a nervous wreck at the moment, he did the same error for spurs in the last month on numerous occasions and is the main factor why england lost.

It was never a penelty either or even a foul so that made it even worse.

England should feel hard done and i dont think Israel will beat or get a draw against Russia.

Oh, and Theo Walcott. But when you consider the alternative was Jermain Fucking Defoe....

Other than that there wasnt much more you could do. I remember seeing him going round the penalty takers against Portugal at the World Cup saying "pick your spot and hammer it" (or words to that effect), and no one really picked up on it but i thought it showed he was not this passion free dummy that he was made out to be and that he did have his head screwed on. If his players had listened to him we might have gone through to play France. and after all, it wasnt his fault Rooney got sent off, and Owen did his cruciates..

Yeah it was Ian Wright the muppet saying he dont pick SWP and he dont show any passion. What the hell is passion and it does not matter when taking a penelty shootout, ask Mourinho or Benitez that.

The Theo Walcott decision was a poor one but it was not like he had many options and i agree about Defoe he would have been useluss.

End of the day the players have to go out there and win, Sven can only do so much.
I remember reading a comment that Gerrard made about they needed Sven to get them up for a WC final-game and instead they got this softley easy approach. My thinking is if you need somebody to get you up for a WC knockout game for your country you really don't deserve to be playing football.

Sven has proven what he can do with a decent team at City. Maybe just goes to prove that England aren't as good as they and the media believe.

I think Harry Redknapp for next England manager would be a good bet.

There no better english managers out there at the moment. If they insist on going foreign then Sven

Jose for next manager.

Robinson did make a howler for the goal.

And he has a gay obsession with Downing too as a sub, he has never done anything in an England shirt. Yet Bentley / Young are on fire for there clubs brimming with confidence didnt make the bench.

Our squad isnt all that when the likes of Crouch/Defoe cant event get a game for there club, Downing out of form for M'Boro, Lescott to inexperienced, Phil Neville a workman like performer, Alan Smith playing mostly midfield for Newcastle and hardly prolific and on form when he does play upfront. Maybe we're not as strong as we think.

It's going to be strange watching a big tournament without England in it.

Im not usually a fan of Owen, even though you know he can get a goal out of nothing but he was holding the ball well at times. Plus the service was awful. We're crying out for a good left winger with a left foot who is direct.

Mourinho wont go into international management yet he still has a lot to offer at club level. It be a waste if he did go into international management too.

Didn't watch motm, decided to work instead of watching, but I seeing hey said Wallcott should be called up? Or you listing why the fuk he got called up for world cup.

Theo Wallcott a fast inexperinced player who should't be in the under England under 21, For me, England under 21 players have to be playing it's not lik under 19 or 17 where all of the are youth and reserve players, under 21 have to be first team, and Wallcott is no where near first team, I mean Wenger only trusted him against that rubbish team they played last week in EPL? Sunderland?

Watch his last two performences in under 21, he looses the ball more then J.Cole and Gerrard combined. Was rubbish, it amazes me this kid was highligted to help us win World cup, I mean omfg, if you didn't hate Sven G if you thought he didn't progress England further enough(which I don't) you must hate him for taking Wallcott over Defoe and Bent, Wallcott my god.. only scored one goal against a injured Terry and defensve postion spoon in Essien.

Is McClaren finished if England don't qualified to EC? I guess so.

Sure Man City are a decent team now. Sven is there. What did they do last year with Pearce there. Answer nothing.

It's going to be weird having a big summer tournament without England in it.

Steven Gerrard had criticism for England teammate Paul Robinson after last night's 2-1 defeat in Russia.

In a thinly-veiled criticism of Tottenham goalkeeper Robinson, Gerrard said: "Paul will feel disappointed with the second goal.

Scolari was your man. I was very happy when I found out you were not getting him. The cherry on the cake was finding out McClaren was "first choice".
