England fans prepare for what we have to put up with. The inability of Phil Neville in central midfield.

Why is it that despite this being a thread about England v Israel its being hijacked by Germans and Scots only interested in criticising our team and going on about their teams being better?

The really annoying thing is that it would be better from an England point of view if Israel were to get a result of some sort against Croatia cos we at least have a game in hand to Israel and will be level on points after this game I think.
Except with a few suspensions it won't exactly help the Israeli/English cause.

Because you lot always like shouting that you're going to do this and that so we're just returning the favour.
The "best fans in the world" are booing Bentley. Fucking disgrace.
I don't like what he did but how does this help the team.

interesting..
the second goalkeeper(nir davidovic) is good goalkeeper, as good as aouate in everything except he sucks in corners and free-kicks.
anyway, if the manager doesn't change his tactics, there is no chance we get a point in croatioa.
owen just missed with no keeper on goal, unexpected from a such experienced striker.

I'd give more credit to Ziv for blocking that shot rather than blaming Owen (who did fantastically to get onto the ball and round the keeper in the first place)...

owen made an excellent run, but had to finish it with a goal. I think he had to be more patient. ziv blocked it well no doubt.

I just got back , Wembley is amazing , reccomend it, hole experince, was very high up , but view was great.
Heskey was brill tbh, like I said wanted him to be back in squad, he did his role today excellent, poor finishing yes, but he won every ball, that's all that matter, have him over Crouch and Rooney he would offer alot more.
J.Cole and SWP were great, it was expected from SWP, such great form for club, he brought it to country, great goal worked by the Chelsea lads,
Barry was good, have him over Hargreaves and Carrick in future games,
Micheal Owen goal was class, great pass to find him from Barry, Owen could of had himself more goals, but oh well,
Rio was good as well I thought, apart from him making a shit pass to SWP he did great I thought, he's stilla spazz though,
great game to watch,England made Isreal not show up imo, it was actually fun to watch, which England games have missed.
I struggle to pick a bad player in our team, I thought Gerrard wasn't as good mabye the injjections, but had poor game from what I saw, Barry pretty much ran the show.
Good stuff, bring on more Hesky.

I disagree with atmosphere maybe because I was there, cheering them on*sitting on high horse) but it was loud in the section I was in, all songs started from our end, where all scousers where, as they all booes A.Cole and Bentley,
Oh I was gonna say, the Bentley boo boys , were pricks.
Got the Isreals to help us with a Mexican wave, proberly highlight of the day.

Yeah but that is the main thing Scots (and alot of others) criticize England fans for.
Who on earth ever said England fans were the best fans in the world? Oh and why should they cheer Bentley after he snubbed England in the summer. If they booed his every touch, or boo him next time he plays I'd have a problem with that but I think it is good the fans have shows him what they thought of his actions of the summer.
Oh and I have to give McClaren credit for that win. I wouldn't have picked Heskey or Barry but both played very well.

The only problem now is will stick by them , or drop them for bigger named players, I hope Heskey stays in team instead of the freak show, he's stronger, better holding ball up, I do though think Hargreaves so go in for Barry or Gerrard against Russia , as we need a player like him.
Fact though Barry got two assists, his passing was very good, he did the simple things go as well, so I would play him instead of Carrick,Gerrard,Lamps, why not?.
