a poor first half of Israel.
all the midfielders were afraid to go forward, shpungin(rb) didn't get out of his half, the only player who tried to attack was ziv(lb).
barak yitzhaki didn't come near his real abilities. katan continues his shit season, absolutly shit! Idan tal wasn't involved, he has to work harder. Waleed badir is an embarassment. benado is too defensive for a midfielder.

ben haim was fine. gershon is the worst cb facing the england strikers, his weakness is against fast players. the full backs were very vad defensively and didn't interfere in the english wingers runs.

we were very luckt to have aouate. (and heskey. jk)

Serbia & Montenegro finished top of their World Cup qualifying group with the best defensive record in Europe and look what happened to them

They didn't have the backing of Lippi though . Also who was in their group? I guess not two WC finalists and a team that made it to the 1/4.

We'll probably not make it but our campaign has been better than yours this far in. I fancy us beating you at Wembley aswell.

let me say it: argentina smashed them 6-0

serbia & montenegro were seperated into 2 (serbia NT and montenegro NT), so we don't know what happened to them... lets not get offtopic.

We're 4th at the moment having played a game less than two of the teams in front of us and (including the game being played at the moment) with 4 of our remaining 5 games at Wembley. Scotland by contrast have played a game more than their rivals.

The only tables that matter are the final ones and despite everything I still reckon England have a far better chance of qualifying than Scotland.

Well of course. If we were in your group we would qualify too.

Anyway we'll continue this another time.

Richards makes it three nil as a little bit inside of me dies.

lol

Israel's keeper falls over under minimal contact from Owen (he doesn't have to move out the way of the keeper anyway) and Richards heads into an empty net.

3-0
