I know what you mean. Richards did sort of haul the defender to the ground however the first offence was the defender obstructing Richards so we got the freekick.

Didn't know this was on the beeb, was watching on the net.
Watching England reminds me how lucky I am to be part of the Tartan Army, average atmosphere and dull as fuck team.
Oh and Owen just missed two chances to score.
'Mon Israel.

Not really Scotland are even more rubbish. The atmosphere isn't great cos the stadium isn't full. The game is officially sold out so I can only assume that some of the corporate ticket holders or some of the 'Club Wembley' ticket holders haven't turned up.

Apart from playing about 10 matches in the last two years?
Owen has had several serious injuries in the last couple of years and hasn't played much at all. The friendly against Germany was (I think) his first games back since snapping his knee in WC06. You shouldn't really judge him on one miss either, even the best strikers miss chances.

SWP was a good few inches onside yup.
Ashley Cole actually deserves credit for the pass to Joe Cole who played in a great cross for the goal.

Not having that. Our games have been full of wonder goals or last minute winners under McLeish. That and we're doing it again
The atmospere is still crap. The corporate folk are probably watching the rugby.

Barry has been great in midfield. He always looking for the balls. Seems like a good pairing.
Heskey has alot of hater / critics but I think he has done well so far par the miss. He is powerful, works hard, links and holds it up well.
