Default England's quest for European domination starts today! U17s.

Yes the moment of truth has finally arrived. Will we finally win something, or will will go home as usual with our tail between our legs.

We've avoided the group of death so should expect to get to the semis. It's then a case of showing these fucking foreigners we're not as shit as the "experts" claim.

Today's game against Iceland isn't televised, but the Spain v France game is (3.00 Eurosport). I might have a peek at the oppo, Spain are apparently the best side in Europe with some Barca wonder bambino.

So formation was something like

4-3-3?

Rose behind Moses and Franks? or was Rose playing striker?

I'd have thought Rose on the left, Franks on the right, Plumber up front with Mosses just behind.

Interesting to see Gavin Hoyte sneaking into the squad for the first time. He looks a lot better than his brother (if that counts for anything).

Justin is overatted, just like Gilbert who went to Cradiff. Gavin has good left foot, strong shot.

Just for anyone vaguely interested in the future of English football!

In the not too distant future.

The talent laden England u17 side play their second game in the European Finals today against the hosts Beligium on Eurosport at 3.00.

Let's hope they can do the business and get a bit of cohesion going eh.

Rose cross, Murphy header, 1-0.

Good side Belgium though.

The schoolboys Rhys Murphy (Arse striker) and Danny Welbeck (Man U)confirmed they are genuine class talents. Particularly Murphy.

Woods, Tiawo and Landsbury er, didn't.

Tawio was ok, Woods was best midfield player.

I don't know how you left out Rose who was best player on the day for England.

Moses was useless as was lansbury, Bad tatics from England at half time.

A draw would suit Holland today. It's shit or bust for England unfortunately.
