England vs Andorra
Tonight .
Hoping for some goals, Andorra are a ski resort, only one of there players plays outside of Andorra for a Spanish Segunda team. Andorra have only won 3 games passed 25 years, they don't score goals, they ranked 178th.
We have to get goals, it could go down to goal differnce.
Anything other then 2-0 is not exceptable tbh. Win is the most important thing, but Mclaren has to show something in this game, has ot be postive.
god have mercy if he plays more defensive then attacking or brings a defender on at 0-0.

England should be scoring at least 5 goals against these nobodies to be even considered decent.

The media have been trying to label McClaren as the donut in a desperate attempt to recreate the success they had with Taylor and the Turnip.
Donut because England have been putting up zeroes on the scoreboard.
Dire, innit?

Yeah us British are clever like that .
You'll win easily. Hopefully the media don't start to lick nuts after you win.
Not winning is surely unthinkable. Make a good night though .

Btw, on breaking news they claim Lamps won't be able to play. They often get that stuff right, does anyone know anything about it?

Lampard is out of the game.
This is interesting. Wonder if Mcclaren will play Gerrard in the middle and Lennon on the right? Hope so!

Downing will play now, with proberly Carrick and Gerrerd in middle with Rooney and Johnson upfront, proberly win 4-0 and everyone will conclude England can't play with out Lampard.
And use this game as evidence to fact we don't need Lampard.
Everyone will be happy.

Lampard out with a broken wrist
McClown was planning to drop Hargreaves and play Lennon, Gerrard Lampard, Downing. The idea of Downing starting for the England team is one I don't like but I can't really think of anyone (in the squad) who'd be a better choice. We need Joe Cole back.

Lampard has been rubbish for England for years, with such a wealth of quality central midfielders he should have been dropped long ago.
It is my belief that without Lampard's incessant shooting from distance Rooney will see more of the ball and hopefully turn in a much better performance, allbeit only against Andorra.
You can't blame Rooney for Frank getting in the way of a shot in training, these things happen. The FA haven't confirmed anything but news sources are suggesting Frank has a fracture low down on his arm and has also ruptured ligaments in his wrist.

Rooney did it, I wasn't blaming him, I believe England will proberly be poor tonight, at least this gets frank our of the firing line, will most likly play against Sheff Utd and deffently Valencia.
Lampard got 6 goals that help England qualify for World cup, was poor in world cup fine, but so where several others, while Rooney got none.
He shoudn't of been dropped, when on good form as you say years ago, if that was true Rooney should of been dropped for bad bad form.
Your 2nd paragraph I woudn't believe in so much.

Can't blame Lampard for a bad performance when Gerrard, with no positional discipline, cramps up the space in the middle. Rooney has been rubbish for club and country for a long time and it has absolutely nothing to do with Lampard. How many goals has he scored for Manchester United this season? Then you look, and it's not even on a consistent basis. He has a goal drought, and then a hat-trick, and then a goal drought etc...
The reason why Rooney isn't playing so well is down to 2 factors:
1. He's simply not working hard enough.
2. He's not getting the service. This has to do with the entire midfield as a whole - no creativity. He's had to drop back to collect the ball rather than have it given to him up front. The root of the problem is Gerrard having no positional discipline. If he actually stayed on the right, the midfield would flow more easily and more opportunities would be created.
This midfield with Lampard, Gerrard, and Hargreaves would be fine if Joe Cole was fit. I suspect the reason why Chelsea aren't first and why England isn't doing well is because of this man.
