Is it only me that finds it a bit depressing that our joint top scorers are Lampard and Rooney at 12...

I wouldn't count on it. There aren't that many international games a year so he'll probably have to play in Euro 2008 to reach 100.

As I said, to reach 100 caps he'll need to games at Euro 2008 and considering Neville's age, him playing for England in the summer of next year is not guaranteed and neither is England qualifying for the tournament.

England have a great team eventhough their strike force is a bit weak, but the main problem is your manager is terrible and I think he is dragging you down with him.

I guess McClaren soon will let Micah Richards play more regular for England. But Gary Neville can make it up to 100 caps.I think he have a future for England at least 2 years more and I'm guessing he will retire at high age. That lad will not give up football that easy.If Richards takes his place he will be the first cover option.I think he will make it.

I honestly don't think we will and in a way I hope we don't either. Steve McClaren is a rubbish manager and the sooner he is sacked the better.

I agree, but it's got to be the sadest thing to ponder only after what 4 competive games?

FA were taking the piss.

I remember half way through last season, a man running onto the pitch throwing his season ticket at Mclaren because they hadn;t won a home game in 4. Worst decesion I have ever seen.

Gareth Barry should be in there instead of Phil Neville IMO

I think the biggest problem for England is that there hasn't been a manager for a while that is willing to drop the big stars because they are incompatible with the rest of the team. As good as Lampard is, he just isn't going to work very well with Gerrard. One of them will not know what to do, and that is going to be a problem. Another weakness is the strikers. There just aren't enough of them around, especially with all the injuries and poor form.

Gareth Barry called up to England squad!

Not sure what brought this on.
