it was 5-0
----------Robinson
Gazza---Terry---King---A. Cole
SWP---Lampard--Parker--Richardson
---------Rooney--Crouch
im not sure if parker should start tho considering croatia have NEVER lost a home international apparently and this is his first cap in 2 years but id have him ahead of carrick atm.
id also prefer richardson on the left cos hes got pace and isnt afraid to take players on
i would have preffered AJ to Crouch but hes injured and out the squad.... maybe Bent

That's being a bit harsh on AJ osn't it?
Crouch, Rooney up front, defence should stay the same however I bet McClaren brings Rio back in.
If everyone is fit where is Lennon? Prefer him to SWP or Richardson.
Actually I'd really prefer a 3-5-2 to pack the midfield and not let them play.
Either way I'm sure England won't win and will probably be lucky not to lose.

G Neville --- Terry --- King --- Cole
SWP --- Parker --- Lampard --- Lennon (if fit)
Rooney --- Crouch

lennon's not in the squad, thats why he hasnt been included, hes still a long way from recovering (at least a month i think).
Werdna ur right, id prefer AJ to Crouch even with a hamstring injury
in the prematch buildup to the game last night they said rio almost definitely wont make the game on wed. IF he does however, id put him in defence and shove king in as the holding mid instead of parker.

crap rio is back -_-, get ready to see the ball passed back to the keeper 200000 times in 90 mins. rather see it passed along the back four, which Terry and King did well.
Hopefull mclaren will stick with King.

King will push up into midfield, if rio is fit there is no way hell be dropped considering hes not off form... thats probably better tbh, nows not really the time to be introducing too many new faces to the team

This was by no means diected to the entire Croatian support, but I hope the rather motley group of muppets that seemed to turn up solely for the purpose of causing trouble stay away.
All the stories after the Italy match were that the Livornesi were accusing the Croatians of being Fascists (a "compliment" they throw in the direction of just about every other group of supporters they come across). In this case, however, their case was strengthened by some of the banners the Croatians had brought and sealed by the swastika "joke".
"Fascist" has become a very lazily-applied label in many circles in recent years, and there is something to be said for trying to reserve it for situations in which it actually applies. We find ourselves in the unfortunate situation here of having a number of "mainstream" neo-Fascist parties, and while I have complete faith in the accuracy of her anecdotal evidence, I also am pretty sure that she knows that some of their Laziali and Interisti "equivalents" are in fact active in the MSI and other "genuinely Fascist" movements. That is a problem, and I for one think that Italian society has failed utterly in coming to terms with the reality of its Fascist past.
There has to be a line that we draw as a society, and beyond which such behaviour is not tolerated no matter how "insincere" its origins. For me, Swastikas, Holocaust references (hissing noises, references to ovens), Celtic Crosses (in Italy), and monkey chants are clearly over that line, and anyone who uses them for any purpose should be banned for a long time. In that respect, I really don't give a flying "why" anyone is using such profoundly offensive imagery; it simply has no place in my vision of civil society.

It looks solid enough, but there is a lack of width + Rooney is not in form, so England have to keep a clean sheet because I would be surprised if they score more than 1 goal.
