Default How far will we go in this world cup?

Lets have some predictions.

I reckon we will make the semis at least (assuming we dont get someone like Brazil in the semis or something).

Think we have as good a chance as anyone of winning it, not unrealistic anyway.

Really looking forward to this summer

as far as luck takes us imo.
sorry to bang on about it, but the talent is there.

i think that anything short of the semi's would be a failure.

Perform mediocre in the group stages, look excellent in the second round and destroy some no marks, lose on penalties to Germany in the quarters, and blame Rooney.

OH OH OOH! It's Carrick you know! Hard to believe it's not Scholes!

I won't be hard-nosed for the sake of it, it can be won but a level of luck would be involved. And catching Brazil on an off day with Ronaldo injured, Ronaldinho banned and Adriano breaking his toes in the warm up.

Hm. Brazil's second string are decent players and they all have wonderful reputations in Brazil...but any top ten side could beat that team if they were without the 3 i mentioned, kaka and the two fullbacks. But they aren't, more's the pity...

Depends on the draw and what luck we have on the pitch. At least the quarters though.

he will be sacked, or quit, after this world cup anyway...unless we win it.

if we fail to get pass the quaters it shows that he has made no progress really...altho the q/f's at the world cup are nothing to be sniffed at and certainly must be accepted as too unpredictable to really be classed as failure.

He won't be sacked the FA can't afford to sack him. He will leave.
