Sven doesn't do good substitutions he managed to completely confuse most of the team with his subs and made them play worse which surprised me cos I didn't think it was possible.

I struggle to see how Owen Hargreaves is actually a professional footballer, let alone an England player.

was absolute crap. it reminds me of watford for me. sven being ray lewington. ray lewington had favourites and would never drop certain players of play players in a role there not suited to just to get them in the team.
then boothroyd came in and complete freshened it up.
i havent watched the last two games but they been absolute poo, and this game i was unfortunate to watch.
i've learned that, never watch england again.
joe cole is not a winger, hargreaves has and always will be sh!t. 4-5-1 dont work.. Beckham gets to much abuse and he plays decent....
sack the swede tho  they were signing that  i'm unsure, do it now and give the new man a bit of time to settle, but still quite late.
the newspapers shall have some bad headlines and ask for svens head tommrow

Lampard and Gerrard are awful for England, they dont get forward enough and dont dictate the game like they do for their clubs.
Owen hot and cold for me really, because no doubting he is a top finisher, but has lost his really quickness and not as sharp.
Becks does try for me, still quality passing. but still rather have Carrick in his role, Carrick better control and tackling, can do shorter passes to involved Gerrard and Lampard, whereas Becks bypasses them with his long balls. by the time the defender wins the header the midfielders are still are own half cause beckham plays long balls.
oh well  |
