Jose might do England Job
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has suggested that he may be interested in coaching England in the future.
"It's true that part of me feels like an Englishman now," Mourinho, 42, said in an interview with Time Out magazine.
"If I stay here for the next five years, the length of my contract, I will feel even more English.
"With six years of loving London and England I'll have something of England and the people in my heart so I could do (the job) in a professional way."
But the charismatic Portuguese-born Blues boss also stated that he felt the job was best suited to an Englishman.
"I still think it's really for an English person," he added.
Mourinho has made a huge impact in English football and last season led Chelsea to the top-flight title for the first time in 50 years.
The Chelsea boss also had words of praise for current England boss Sven-Goran Eriksson.
"At the moment the England job is for Sven, who is a top professional and who also does it with a bit of England in his heart," he said.

he's just being chatty-chatty.....He's a Pora,
... deep down he'd enjoy the arrogant & passionate squad of Portugal given world cup directorship anyday. Besides, he thinks the English are just a little too strict for their own good.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has dampened talk of him becoming manager of the England national team.
Mourinho, 42, suggested in an interview with Time Out he could coach England, but only after the end of his five-year deal with Chelsea.
But his spokesman said: "He is a passionate Portuguese citizen and has made it very clear that one day he'd like to manage the Portuguese team.
"He also totally supports Sven-Goran Eriksson as England manager."
Time Out quoted Mourinho as saying: "It's true that part of me feels like an Englishman now. If I stay here for the next five years, the length of my contract, I will feel even more English.
"If players spend that amount of time in another country they can change their passport and play for that country.
"With six years of loving and living London and England, I will have something of England and the people in my heart so I could do (the job) in a professional way."
But the Portuguese-born Blues boss also stated that he felt the job was best suited to an Englishman.
"I still think it's really for an English person," he added.
"At the moment the England job is for Sven, who is a top professional and who also does it with a bit of England in his heart."

He's a winner. England have a squad that can win. He'd certainly do much better than Erickson.

hmmm....yes and no.
i mean if jose was given two weeks preparation with this england team focusing purely on motivation and organisation then he would do well imo.
just an opinion....you dont have to reply.

In other words, there was no actual stories to report in the paper that day.

I think it was a more of a case of the arrogant fukker having a veiled swipe at Erikson. He would do a better job, but he wouldnt get enough money.
