Default Joe Cole makes way for Owen...

So Joe Cole, the scorer of our only goal against Wales at the weekend, is to be dropped from tonights side making way for Michael Owen...

Sven will be sticking with his 4-5-1 formation with Rooney dropping into Joe's position and Owen taking the front strikers role...

Has Sven done the right thing in bringing in a probably un-match-fit Owen...?

I, like you, knew this would happen because Sven 'must' play Owen, and I bet now that in the back of his mind he wishes he could revert back to his favorite 4-4-2 too... We should take this game with ease and look to close the goal difference gap between us and the Poles, but will we? Well we should have done a lot better against Wales and were only just spared the blushes with one goal, oh, which was scored by the man who's dropped for tonights game...

Agreed, but when you look at his contribution compared to SWP, he has scored a goal that won a vital game, that's got to be worth something...?

SWP provided the cross and did play better than J.Cole besides he wouldn't of scored if his shot hadn't got a lucky deflection.

I dislike both Owen and J.Cole, both are terribly overated for the occasional timely goal. Maybe J.Cole could play for James seeing as he's probably just as good a keeper.

He has scored a few goals in recent time. Real Madrid must be laughing all the way to the bank Robinho for Owen.
