swp for me just didn't do enough, as you say he got the ball once in a blue moon and when he did he didn't do much with it as he is easily muscled off the ball and can't cross.

Don't even get me started on the cretin that 'played' on the other wing.

thats unfair criticism....young never passed to him and gerrard was too busy trying to dribble.

he is very strong and never once got muscled off the ball....he crossed three times...once he made the goal, twice he made a sitter for gerrard and thrice it went a little too deep for defoe.

Fair enough about young (anyone want to have a go at G.Nev now we have seen both alterntives?) but his crosses are poor; the only place he has the ability to cross to is the edge of the D. All his attempts to actually reach the men in the box were awful.

Also good point about Gerrad he was as bad as fwank lanthard.

cole was crap as usual...

apart from the shot that caused the own goal, he did fukk all as usual...

the formation was sh!t... and in the second half, he had fukked about with it so much, that we were sitting ducks...

if wales were a beter side, we would have been mullered in that last 30 mins...

defoe, once again, proved what an over rated litte kunt he really is... sh!t as usual...

which in turn, simply went to prove that eriksson is a clueless kunt who copies other tactics without the effect and still picks players on reputations made years ago....

thought the game was crap and we were rubbish again....

which is something that i seem to be saying a lot after england games lately......

the formation is the best for an england that includes david beckham.

if you have david beckham he has to play that deep lieing creative midfield role...he simply cannot do it out wide anymore.

if i had my absolute way i would probably have parker i instead of beckham.

whats for sure is that we cant go back to 442 unless we use this midfield

swp parker lampard downing

and i dont think thats too hot....433 is the way to go unless we can forge a back 3 in a couple of months with three defenders that never play with one another (i.e. we cant)

svenn's subs were ****e.

btw when was the last time gerrard had a good game for england? germany 5-1?

SWP and Beckham were the best players on the pitch by far.

a.cole was the best defender.
and rooney showed signs of genius despite ****ing up a great oppertunity.

i really do fear shupergoalsh frank has his head up his own ass after all this media praise for him....he must remember it is not his natural ability that has got him to this stage...purely immense hard work.

I'm just f***ing tired of the same mediocre performances against crap teams, I'm tired of having to explain why we're sh*t to people who can't see why I get so depressed watching England, I'm tired of having to state the case for Sven's sacking to anyone who cares to listen, I'm tired of having a world-class generation of players wasted by a talentless, overrated, overpaid and weak-minded manager, I'm tired of watching one of the world's proudest footballing nations wither and die at the hands of a man with all the passion and pride of a tub of peanut butter.

I'm so f***ing tired of English football. I'm even getting tired of my club's mediocre performances and fans who expect too much too soon. Unless Rooney manages to carry us through the World Cup with some dignity intact, football is going to start sliding down my list of priorities pretty fast.

And if you asked anyone who knew me, they'd probably tell you there was no chance that would ever happen. That's what this Swedish idiot is doing to my life.

Your Sven tirade is getting old. Face the reality that he is going to coach until the World Cup, and then the FA will dump him on how they do.

Makes no sense to get rid of him now, that would throw the team in chaos.

This wasn't a big game today. Lampard has been one of Englands best players in big games in recent times.

One thing i would like to know is how much Owen Hargreaves pays Sven to be in the sqaud. I have never seen him play well for England. Parker and Carrick are far better players then Hargreaves.

Sorry for the "tirades", and I appreciate it must be getting old by now, but sometimes a man just needs to vent. I'm sure ralfwiggum will appreciate that.

I do realise he's in charge until the World Cup, and that he's not going to be sacked now - what infuriates me is why they didn't sack him after our poor performances at Euro 2004. Any international coach should be instated just after a major tournament, because that is when a rebuilding process needs to start, and the coach can then rebuild in his own image. What is ****ing me off at the moment is the fact that Sven has built a team that doesn't really know where it's going or how it wants to play, yet he's spent so long dallying around with formations and team selection that there's now not enough time to establish a starting XI and a formation that gives us a genuine chance of winning the World Cup. I just hope that by the time Euro 2008 comes around, it isn't too late, that's all.
