Default Who would you replace Sven with???

OK, we all had a bit to say about Sven and the team following last nights spanking, just as we did when we took a pasting from the Aussies a couple of years ago... And surprize suprize, the same old "friendlies are not important anyway" excuse has been pushed around again...

With the Wales game just around the corner this game should have been far more competitive, sure Denmark competed, us lot dodn't even show up but for Becks and Rooney who played their hearts out...

So, as expected, people are slagging off Sven and suggesting that he is not the right man for the job. I agree that he should go because he doesn't seem to know (dare I say care) how to get the best out of this well-equiped squad...

Firstly I'd like to see him replaced by an Englishman because a foreigner will never fight for a country like a man of the blood. but you know, I can't think for the life of me who's up for the job...

Possibilities are McClaren, Curbishley, Keagan (lol), Hoddle (hhhmmm) Sherringham!

What's your thoughts?

i dont care but Sven doesnt run around the pitch, the players do. i cant really understand why he always gets the **** from people.

if people are picked to play for their country, they should be good enough and give 100%.

dont come with no **** like "all the subs turn the game" or **** like that, if they are in the squad they should be good enough

its the players who are playing not sven

Fair enough... and we all know that Sven gives out caps too easiliy which has made them seem cheap, not like way back when when you really had to deserve to be in that most presitigous team...

Still, do you think he is the man for the job? if not then who?

Yesterday wasnt Sven's fault, it was the players who put no effort into it.

The most pleasing thing was that for once he admitted we were **** and put no effort in

To say that Sven wasn't at all at fault is a little rash in my books. Surely as a Manager, it is his duty to have underlined the importance of the game ahead of the Wales game and to have motivated his players to a level that they at least turned up for the game.

Gerrard and Lamps especially were shocking and played like they just didn't give a shat about the game and if that was the case then they should have stood by to give someone else a chance to shine.

As I said, only Rooney, Beckam, Neville and to some extent Defoe played with any purpose last night. the others were a disgrace to the shirt! Sven needs to shock some of the big-boys letting them know that even their places are not guarenteed...

I dont like sven, i dont think he is very good, but last night, only rooney stood out for me, and the rest just didnt look intrested, and i know its the managers team, but the players were shocking last night and it just looked liked the big names new their places were safe and didnt even want to try.

I'm not suggesting that the players are not at all at fault, of course they are!!! Indevidually most of them played crap and didn't put a tiny bit of effort into the game and that's their fault entirely. Still, it is the Manager who guides and directs them and he didn't put enough emphasis on this game which is why the players were so damn relaxed last night!

I think the best idea is to leave Sven as manager tell McClaren to fcuk off and get Stuart Pearce in as Sven's number 2, Psycho will soon let them know what it means to play for England.

Replace Sven with a tic-tac.

Tic tacs are:

Comes in six flavors.
Only 1 and 1/2 calorie.
Cost: 92 cents.
0 mg sodium.
Long lasting fresh breath.

And if that hasn't convinced you, than your already gone for.

Sven should be replaced with someone who has the strength of mind to make a decision every now and again, and this someone should be English. It is simply impossible for a foreign manager to have the passion for the job that an England manager requires.

McClaren in, with Psycho as his number 2 - great call russe||, I was thinking that last night. There's no way he'd ever let his players get away with giving less than 200%.
