I would watch the US over the Revs if they were on at the same time. The national competitions are just a bit more for me.

and quite right too....i dont want a player at my club (although im sure there are) that would rather play a game for his country than a game for his club.

well done to Richardson, not sure he will cut it at Man Utd altho he has done well for the Baggies.

Oh, what a lovely waste of time that game was.
Truly ****ing ridiculous. Half a season's decent football in a struggling team (Richardson), two-thirds of a season of goalscoring in a truly crap team who rely on hoofing it up to you because you're so tall (Crouch), three seasons of utter mediocrity (Young), two seasons of relatively average defending and (once again) standing out because you're so tall (Knight), a season spent diving to win penalties and then converting them to make your record look good when in fact you're rubbish (Johnson) and being a defender who defends like a winger (other Johnson) - those reasons should never again mean players get picked for England.
Players should get picked for England not because 15 other players withdrew, but because they consistently perform well at a high level, both in the Premiership and, preferably, in European football. I can't believe Sven was planning on picking a Championship strikeforce until one of them was injured. Says it all, really.#
At least we won, not that it proves anything at all.
