TCS can be pretty sarcastic -- sure he didn't mean it tongue and cheek because of the Dragon stadium fiasco?

Realize it's hard to tell intent sometimes when reading an article -- so kind of asking rhetorically.

can't we have the nicknames of team be normal and have somthing to do with there city or state.

That wasn't from the start -- he took over them a few years ago. He owned the Dallas franchise in the NASL.

he was the owner, he had some bad deals in the early 80's, also the NFL had a rule that if you own a NFL franchise you couldn't own any franchise in other sports, the NASL fought in court, they later won the case but the league was gone by then.

not positive but rumor has it that they will be renamed FC Dallas, not sure of a nickname or ther new colors.
