Forest sign two
Nottingham Forest have completed the signings of Alan Rogers and Kevin James.
27-year-old Rogers has agreed a three-year deal at The City Ground, after being released by Leicester City.
Rogers enjoyed a loan spell at Forest earlier in the season, which persuaded manager Joe Kinnear to move in quickly.
"I couldn't be happier. When I came back to the club on loan in February I was hoping that it might lead to something permanent," said Rogers.
"I've thoroughly enjoyed being back here and in many ways it has been like returning home after spending so many happy times here before.
"Thing have gone very well on the field in the last three months and I genuinely believe the club is heading for bigger things next season.
"There is a good feeling around the place and with new players coming in and David Johnson fit again, we're really looking forward to August."
Rogers will be joined at The City Ground next season by midfielder James, who has agreed a three-year deal with Forest after a free transfer move from fellow Division One side Gillingham.
"It's a massive opportunity for me to be joining a club like Nottingham Forest," James told the club's official website.
"I've had a good look around the place and the manager or nobody else had to sell Forest to me.
"I was thrilled that a club like this were interested in signing me."
