Canoville Under Attack
Following an incident which occurred in ‘Valbonnes’ night-club last night, Torquay United can confirm that Lee Canoville was struck in face by Doncaster Rovers fan following a slight altercation.
He was subsequently taken to the Torbay Hospital, purely as a precautionary measure, where X-rays revealed no damage other than a couple of black eyes and a sore nose.
Lee was not detained in hospital overnight.
I think that it is pathetic that a Doncaster fan did this just because they lost (Torquay beat them 1-0 only days after they confirmed their promotion). What an arsehole.
