Forest want striker
Nottingham Forest have expressed an interest in signing Hungarian striker Peter Kovacs after an impressive trial spell at the City Ground.
The 26-year-old has been training with the First Division outfit for the last week and Forest boss Joe Kinnear wants to sign him if his side can stay up this season.
The player's agent Gary Stephens confirmed he had held talks with Kinnear, but admitted there was interest from other clubs in the Tromso ace.
"I spoke with manager Joe Kinnear on Saturday," Stephens told Bladet Tromso.
"Kinnear didn't want the contents of out conversation leaked, so I can't say what was said.
"One of the reasons is probably due to the fact that several clubs are interested."
Kovacs was remaining coy over his future insisting nothing had been decided.
"I spoke with Gary today (Wednesday). But I will not say anything. We have decided that this will stay secret," said Kovacs.
"I know what is going on now, but what that happens in the future is not easy to tell. A lot of things can change."
