Clubs to battle for Beattie
Quote:
Sheffield United are expecting bids for striker James Beattie for Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Blackburn and Portsmouth in the summer.
The Daily Mail reports that the former Everton striker will be hot property this summer after firing Kevin Blackwell's men up the Championship table this season.
It is thought United would hold out for around £5m for the striker.

Found his level at the championship... Any of those clubs would be fools to pay that for him.

In Championship Beattie is class. In Premiership he's only average. But that dosen't stop him wish playing in Premier League again.
