Figo rejects QPR
Cashed-up QPR are in advanced talks with Inter Milan star Luis Figo about a move to Loftus Road at the end of the season.
The Mail on Sunday says QPR owners Flavio Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone and steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal believe the 35-year-old former world player of the year can spearhead a return to the Premier League next season under the management of Italian Luigi De Canio.
Talks between Rangers and Figo's representatives have been taking place over the past few weeks and only minor details need to be cleared up before the Portuguese midfielder makes the switch from Inter Milan when his contract expires at the end of the season.

I think this is a prank of sorts, Highly doubtful that Figo will retire with QPR

I just cannot believe how much money QPR actually have! They have more potential money than Chelsea! (Ecclestone is a Billionaire, Mittal is the forth richest person on earth and growing....It make me laugh!)
Figo? I doubt he will want to go to QPR, but who knows...If thet get to the EPL many foreign talent could go there in the future?

if qpr does manage to sign Figo, it would be possibly the team's biggest signing ever

I can't see him going there, but I could see him leaving Inter soon.

Maybe he would go to Porto, or Benfica. Who knows, he may come to the US.

Figo is still a quality player, and he'd get QPR promoted, but I doubt he will sign for them, there will be far more attractive propositions coming at him.

QPR have been linked with Del Piero etc.
Doubt he will join.
Will Figo cope with the physical nature of the championship. Strong challenges, no time on the ball etc.
Has he even got the legs anymore. No doubt talent wise with his skill he will do well in most games.

Internazionale winger Luis Figo has quashed speculation he is negotiating a move to Coca Cola Championship club Queens Park Rangers.
The 35-year-old, who is under contract with Serie A leaders Inter until June, has been linked with a move to Loftus Road but has dismissed the reports.
The former Portugal captain said: "My future in England? At this time there are no negotiations with Queens Park Rangers despite what the newspapers say."
He added: "Right now I'm at Inter and we will try to end the season in the best possible way. This is my only aim at this time."
Earlier this month, Inter president Massimo Moratti confirmed he wanted Figo to remain at the San Siro for another season.
Moratti revealed he would be offering the ex-Barcelona and Real Madrid star a contract extension
The Press Association: Figo denies QPR talks
that ends any speculation of him going to QPR

Figo don't belong in a 'kick and run' league.
