Default Best year of the championship so far?

What an exciting year it's been so far as we come to the business end of the season, anyone from the top 12 are still in with a chance of grabbing a play-off spot!! Anyone dare to tempt fate and predict who will go up?

it seems just when a side seems to put a run together, they then slump and throw it all back in the air again! (Watford, Stoke, Charlton, West Brom etc)

For me personally, i'm going to side with Stoke and West Brom for automatic, Stoke's bully boy tactics are perfect for this league, although it will only result in them coming straight back down! West Brom i just feel have been underachieving, and will hit form towards the end, where as Watford just seem to be lacking that bit of punch at the moment!

As for the other 2 play-off spots, whilst i would love to say Ipswich could grab one, we still need to sort our dire away form, and the loss of Jon Walters is a massive blow, here's hoping though

(Essay continues) Hull appear to have hit a patch of form at the right time, where as Plymouth having nearly had their side decapitated in January are still floating up there! Charlton are far too inconsistent, a typical Pardew side but he had a nasty habit at West Ham of producing it at the end and performing in the play-offs!

Palace are far too inconsistent, and Burnley are over-achieving by using similar tactics to Stoke, therefore they will fall just short IMO

So to round up, for me the league will look a little something like this.......

1. Stoke
2. West Brom
--------------------------
3. Watford
4. Bristol City - Play-off winners
5. Plymouth
6. Charlton
-------------------------

So that be my view, feel free to disect and add your views, and if it comes true, i'm either the Messiah or will start some crazy champions league draw like fix rumours

If Stoke go up, I will be shocked and they will be a Derby but then again I think any of us who go up will be.

They were fucking awful yesterday. Even with a man extra for 70mins we dominated them for 90mins. No short of a lie. We bullied them.

It's too hard to call at the moment. I would back my side if we had an inform striker, as our defence is so solid now with DeMerit, Bromby, Shittu and Sadler.

Robson must of been on drugs when he sold Bromby, because he has everything: Pace, Strong in the air, Massive Throw, Good On The Ball.

ideally:

1. West Brom - then again I think Cup run could distract them.
2. Watford - Aidy very confident, just need to get goals and should be fine. Very handy Goal Difference over Stoke and Bristol atm.

3. Bristol City - Could be automatic think WBA could bugger up.
4. Hull - On a late surge at the moment.
5. Plymouth - A tough battling side.
6. Charlton - Not 100% sure they will get into playoffs.

It's hard to predict it as everyone is inconsisent. Hopefully Watford can get Adam Johnson in on loan and we will go up for sure

Ipswich will make the playoffs as they have the easiest run in, the game in hand against Plymouth and the final game of the season at home to Hull will be the critical ones, and compared to the other contenders the best chance. Winning the playoffs another kettle of fish but I feel fairly confident. How's that grab you.

3 teams that will go up will go down for sure. The quality in this league is awful. Watford have been dogshite for a while I dont know how we are still 4th.

only maybe wba have a chance.

I have racked my brain to find words to express my thoughts on Ipswichs' performance against Colchester, and my reasons for assuming they had an easy run home and would make the playoffs. Verdict, I should have kept my big mouth shut in the first place as words fail me now.

Last nights results go a long way to proving your point. However those fighting relegation aka Colchester and Barnsley are showing showing promotion seeking clubs the way to win.

I didnt go had something else on (thats how bad we are at home).

but crowd left early, players got boooo'd all all the way down the tunnell and barnsley players got applauded.

Watford could even not make the play offs. Even if we did I wouldnt fancy us atall.

No creativity or goalscorers.

Who has the answers is it Boothroyd or Magilton or is it, as I think, the failure of the players to play, both as individuals and as a team, to their full potential consistently.

A decent performance yesterday.

Watford have no creativity. Smith has been very quiet last couple of months, think he is carrying a knock since Ipswich away. He had been top notch all season up untill then.

McAnuff so inconsistent, cant cross with his left foot. Dwells on the ball and too lightweight.

We got alot of strikers to choose from it's just shit supply and not enough effort from the strikers.

I wonder why some players tries to use their left foot when they don't have one...
