Robson compares Blades to Baggies
Sheffield United manager Bryan Robson has drawn comparisons between his former club West Brom and the struggling Bramall Lane outfit.
Robson, under increasing pressure from fans at Bramall Lane as his side lie 17th in the table, was in charge of the Baggies for two seasons and admitted he experienced "some ups and downs".
Robson said: "It was a mixed bag really, we stayed in the Premiership despite being eight points adrift at Christmas, so that was a great achievement, while getting relegated was an obvious low.
"Those memories are probably something similar to what Sheffield United experienced last year, but both clubs have great potential and you can see that by the average gates during this campaign.
"I also take a lot of satisfaction from the fact that a lot of the players I bought at West Brom have since been sold for big money."
