Potters pounce for PNE's Pugh
Stoke have signed Preston winger Danny Pugh on loan until January with a view to a permanent move.
Pugh, 25, moved to North End from Leeds in the summer of 2006 and has made eight appearances for Paul Simpson's side so far this season, scoring once.
But the former Manchester United trainee has not played for Preston since October 6 and has now moved down the M6 to join up with Tony Pulis' Potters.
Pulis told City's official website: "Danny is a left-sided player who we have been chasing since the beginning of the season.
"He is young enough to improve with the team and he is capable of scoring goals.
"I am absolutely delighted to have signed a quality left-sided player."
