Forest vs Leicester abandoned after player collapses
Not again.
Hopefully he's ok, apparently he was sitting up in the ambulance on his way to hospital.

what is up lately with all this
it just goes to show that you can be young fit and health but your never 100% fit to have this happening
Hopefully he gets better and gets back on the pitch as soon as possible

Clarke in stable condition
Quote:
Leicester City defender Clive Clarke is currently in a "stable" condition after collapsing during the Carling Cup tie at Nottingham Forest.
The second round clash was abandoned after the 27-year-old lost consciousness in the dressing room at half-time.
Clarke, who joined City on loan from Sunderland earlier this month, received treatment from paramedics at the City Ground but regained consciousness and was taken to hospital in Nottingham.
A statement on Leicester's website said: "Leicester City have confirmed that defender Clive Clarke is currently in a 'stable' condition after the player had collapsed during the Carling Cup clash against Nottingham Forest."
He is expected to remain in hospital while his progress is monitored.
Leicester manager Martin Allen, who went onto the pitch with Forest counterpart Colin Calderwood to announce the abandonment of the match, also spoke on the club's site and praised the medical staff who rushed to Clarke's aid.
Grateful
"I have just left the hospital in Nottingham with (head physio) Dave Rennie and (sports scientist) Damien Doyle after visiting Clive Clarke," Allen said.
"We do not know how it happened or why it happened, but at this moment in time he is sitting up absolutely exhausted and very grateful to our medical team.
"It would be wrong at this moment in time to enter into any more details until further tests have been carried out.
"Lastly, I must say Dave Rennie and Damien Doyle were absolutely outstanding in coping and dealing with what was a traumatic and difficult situation.
"We are lucky both members of staff were on hand at such a difficult and testing time."

Clarke 'lucky' to be alive
Quote:
Leicester City defender Clive Clarke says he is 'lucky' to be alive after suffering a double heart failure against Nottingham Forest.
Clarke was taken to hospital midway through The Foxes' Carling Cup clash with Forest, which was eventually abandoned.
The scare came shortly after Sevilla's Antonio Puerta died just days after collapsing in his side's defeat to Getafe last weekend.
Clarke remembers little about the incident other than feeling queasy and passing out and is now looking to cherish every moment of his life.
"I know I am extremely fortunate to be here," said Clarke. "In the light of recent events involving footballers who have suffered heart attacks, I am the real lucky one, because I have survived.
"I remember feeling a bit lethargic on the field in the first half, and I was involved in a collision with our goalkeeper Paul Henderson, which led to their goal.
"I sat quietly in a corner of the dressing room and felt a bit queasy. I can recall Patrick Kisnorbo talking to me, but it wasn't really registering. Then I just passed out.
"When I was told what had happened, the blood drained from my body. I just thought I could have been dead, and that I might never have seen my family again.
"When you think about Sevilla player Antonio Puerta, it goes without saying that a day won't pass when I don't cherish every moment in my life."
