Wimbledon have taken Alain Makelele - brother of Chelsea star Claude - on trial at the National Hockey Stadium.

Makelele is currently searching for a new club after his contract ended at Belgian outfit Charleroi.

Makelele joined earlier in the week and has impressed Dons boss Stuart Murdoch, say the club's website.

Meanwhile, Wimbledon have decided not to puruse their interest in West Ham midfielders David Noble and Daryl McMahon who have been on trial.

wonder if this kid is as good as his brother. And why not take those midfielders from west ham, they havve taken enough from wimbledon
