Stoke City 2 Sheffield Wednesday 4

Sheffield Wednesday picked up a morale-boosting 4-2 win over high-flying Stoke at The Britannia Stadium. Ricardo Fuller gave the home side the lead on 12 minutes, only for Jermaine Johnson to reply for Wednesday four minutes later. Marcus Tudgay fired the visitors in front on 23 minutes, but Fuller hit his second of the game four minutes before the break to send the sides in level at half-time. Two goals in two minutes from Tudgay (85) and Deon Burton (87) gave Wednesday the win to help ease their troubles.
