Lee Trundle is among the summer signings that could make their first competitive appearances for The Robins this weekend.

Queens Park Rangers v Cardiff Preview
Quote:
QPR welcome back Dexter Blackstock (hamstring) and Daniel Nardiello (back), while loan signing Hogan Ephraim is also available again after being denied permission to play in the Carling Cup.
But Ben Sahar is still recovering after an appendectomy, and Pat Kanyuka (thigh), Gareth Ainsworth (ankle) and Ray Jones (foot) remain sidelined.
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink joined Cardiff on Thursday but will play no part in the game against QPR as he does not link-up with his new team-mates until next week.
Robbie Fowler also misses out as he continues his battle to get fit, while Riccardo Scimeca and Steve Thompson are long-term absentees.

QPR board resigns
Quote:
The board of directors at Queens Park Rangers have tendered their resignations with immediate effect.
The move comes ahead of potential new investment at the club, with chairman Gianni Paladini confirming last week that Renault Formula One boss Flavio Briatore was keen to take control.
Outgoing board members Nick De Marco, James Ferrary and Kevin Steele are happy with the developments at Loftus Road.
"We are delighted to be able to tender our resignations from the board of Queens Park Rangers Football Club in order to assist in the changes set to take place this week," they said in a joint statement on the club's official website.
"We believe the new investment coming into the club will be the most important for years; will save QPR from the perilous financial position we have found ourselves in over the past few years; and should put the club in an excellent position to move forward.
"We would like to thank Gianni Paladini in particular for attracting this important new investment and we are delighted he will stay on as chairman of the club.
"We are certain the new investors and the new board will get behind John Gregory and give him the support he needs."

Ben Sahar is back in training at on-loan club QPR. Israel international Sahar, on loan from Chelsea, has resumed light training following his appendectomy almost two weeks ago. Rangers hope he will be ready for a return to match action in one month.
