Lawrie must Cook up big bid for star
QPR chairman Gianni Paladini has rejected Fulham's £1.5million bid for Lee Cook and insists the midfielder is "going nowhere" for that price.
The Cottagers have been trailing Cook for months and had an initial bid turned down last month.
They believed they were finally set to land the 24-year-old after increasing their offer but Paladini is unmoved.
He told BBC London: "He's got a two-year contract and he's a QPR player - end of story.
"I think he would be a bit offended if someone valued him at £1.5m. He's a QPR player and unless we get a decent deal he's going nowhere and he knows that."
Rangers are thought to value Cook at around £3million and Paladini is not willing to negotiate that figure.
He said: "There's no way he's going for £1.5m. I just want to assure the fans."
