Julian Gray signs for Coventry
Quote:
Coventry have wrapped up their ninth signing of the close-season with the capture of Birmingham winger Julian Gray.
Sky Blues chief Iain Dowie has been one of the Championship's busiest managers in the summer, as he looks to reshape his Coventry squad for next season.
Dowie is well aware of the wide man's capabilities having managed the player at Crystal Palace earlier in his career.
Prior to last season Gray had been a regular at St Andrews under Steve Bruce, but the arrival of Gary McSheffrey pushed him to the periphery of the first team picture.
Gray will be hoping Dowie can rejuvenate his somewhat stalled career, with the pair having previously worked well together at Selhurst Park.
Dowie has already brought Dimitrios Konstantopoulos, Robbie Simpson, Ellery Cairo, Arjan De Zeeuw, Gary Borrowdale, Leon Best, Michael Hughes and Donovan Simmonds to the Ricoh Arena.
